Not cooling
So far we've used the cooling variety and didn't notice anything different other than the increased lubrication. This review will be updated when we try the warming kind.

Water-based
One tube is supposed to give a cooling sensation and the other one a warming sensation, but they are hardly noticeable. That said, they are pretty good water-based lube. It's consistent with most other water-based lube I have used.
