Nicely finished and a strong magnet. Larger knives may need to be positioned with the handle butting against the edge of the holder to stop them sagging sideways though

[Update] Received a replacement and am very happy with it. Holds up all my knives securely.Received with a damaged section of the wood-finish. Should have been quality checked first surely.

Magnets weak, causing knives to swing around!!!!!!Not the previous knife rack ordered

I've had a couple of other things from this range, wfych were actually pretty decent, for what they were.This is a bit disappointing. It works absolutely fine as a knife holder, but was a bit rougher in the finish. In fairness, it's a natural product, so maybe I got unlucky, but I wasn't so happy with it. OK.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm pleased with the product. It's a nicely finished piece of wood. The construction is two pieces of wood sandwiched together with the magnets running along the length internally. It was easy to install as long as you know how to use a drill. It gripped most of my knives very well. A firm solid grip without being too strong that the knife would need to be yanked off. I had a bread knife which was an odd exception. That knife had very smooth finish on the blade and didn't grip the block very well. Sometimes it would slowly slide down. A quick wipe with a damp cloth added enough friction between the knife and block to allow it to stay in place. Apart from that single knife everything else stayed on it all looks great.

A good looking knife rack that's easy to install, but the magnets are only strong enough to hold smaller, lighter knives.My larger knives slid off, very dangerous.Returned the item to Amazon and a swift refunded was issued.All good service from Amazon but item not up to the job.

Calamita molto potente, regge anche i coltelli più grossi e pesanti. Ha una bella misura, nel senso che senza ingombrare troppo, trattiene anche 10 tra coltelli e coltellacci, che sono belli da esporre e rapidi all'uso. Per prudenza ho utilizzato dei tappi Fischer più grandini di quelli forniti in dotazione.Comodo ed efficace, ottimo acquisto

Prodotto ottimo, speravo che fosse così. Tutti i coltelli al loro posto, in ordine e salva spazio. Prezzo buono per un prodotto usato ( era ben indicato che si trattava di un articolo usato).

Leider sind die Magnete so verbaut, dass größere Messer, die man an die Leiste "hängt", sich wegen ihres Gewichts um die eigene Achse drehen, und dann Gefahr laufen herunterzufallen. Um dies zu verhindern hätte man, mit kurzem Abstand, zwei Magnete übereinander verbauen müssen- was man leider nicht tat.
