Adds a nice green color to my bonsai trees
The sheet moss worked well on my beginner bonsai trees. I've only had tonuse 1 sheet to cover the 2 bases. They added a nice greenery to the base as the bonsai is only a stick right now.The color I picked is a brighter green. They are easybto cut and separate, but the thickness is not quite consistent. Some parts I have to cut, others just fall or pull apart.I thought they were easy to lay over the soil and I poked some holes to plug the moss in a bit more. I can't say how well these will survive outdoors yet. I've only added them yesterday and it's been quite rainy and cold outside, so I've been keeping the bonsai indoor. I do look forward to how this will thrive and enhance my first 2 bonsai trees.

Good for Wall Art
Ordered this pack with a couple others to use for a wall art project. This moss works perfectly with the others. It is very sturdy and can be used in many designs. The moss is dense enough to be able to be cut with scissors to the desired shape you want to use. It is all pretty much one level so good for lower level areas of your project. It has a yellowish, weathered look to it to add character to your work.

The color leaks.
The color leaks makes water foamy. Not sure if it is safe for animals.

Amazing quality! Realistic and versatile!
I like everything about this! I am using this moss to decorate some indoor succulent planters (see first pic). The moss is stunning. The colors are incredibly realistic and the moss is soft and springy, not dried up and brittle like low quality moss. It arrived shrink wrapped so everything was very clean. You get sheets of moss that you can apply as is (see third pic) or you can tear the sheet apart to expose the brown woody base layer (second pic). I gently tore one sheet apart in clumps to get a mix of the vibrant color with the hardy base layer because I wanted a more natural look. It’s supposed to last 3-5 years if you keep it dry and out of direct sunlight. I plan to use this indoors with a grow light and indirect light so it should keep well. This is really great quality moss that I highly recommend.

High quality, THICK, and crumbly
I use moss like this for making model terrain and landscape sculptures, so I've worked with a lot of stuff like this. This is some THICK moss. Out of the box, it's in pads that are about an inch dense, far thicker than you'd usually get or use for model terrain. That's not a complaint, mind you. It's quite easy to break it down into smaller pieces to suit what you're building. If anything, it adds value to this package, since moss for modeling can be pretty expensive. Getting 2 square feet of the stuff, and with this kind of thickness, means it can really last. For builders like myself, this is closer to four square feet of material. It's quite crumbly, so don't open the box until you're at your crafting table. Lots of little pieces will fall out all over.A quick test revealed that it glues down well and is good with a Mod Podge spray. Again, very good for the kind of terrain building I like to do.Overall, for terrain building, this is a MUCH better value than the most specifically sold to hobbyists like me.

Good box of moss. A bit messy from shipping but not too bad to clean up.
