These filters are the same as the ones from stores at a much better price. They perform the same but the price is great.I had a problem with my spring and the filters helped clean up the problem. I keep atleast six on hand so I always have a replaement.

I order these for our in-line water filter and they work very well. We have horrible sulfur water that stains my sinks, tubs and clothing over time even with every day cleaning. These filters help cut down on that a lot and also makes the water clearer and not smell like rotten eggs.. which is definitely a plus.

The quality is there and you can't beat the price. My only "complaint" is that they seem a little taller than the ones I was purchasing for more money. So when installing lining up the filter and screwing on the housing takes a little more patience. But they fit and the value is unmatched.

I have used these filters for the past year and have been pleased with the job they do at about half the cost of ones that can be purchased locally. We have a lot of fine sediment during the winter months and using a 5 micron filter keeps our water clear and tasty.

My daughter has well water of dubious quality. It has an odor, and sand and grit gets through. She asked me to order her replacement filters. Here is a copy of her text. I use these in our whole house well water line. Great for filtering out impurities in the water line leaving no after taste or reduced water pressure. If you notice reduced water pressure, change the filter as it may have caught more impure sediment was water table changes. Great for filtering city water too. I will continue to purchase as long as I get a good price. The water you drink is important to your health!

I bought these partially because the information in the Amazon product description said they used NSF certified materials. There are no markings on the product label showing the NSF logo. I would have thought if the mfg company would go to the trouble of getting NSF materials, they would add(brag?) on the product label.
