I bought this ( against my piercers advice ) for a problematic helix piercing that I had done 11 months ago. Stubborn thing would not stop weeping and bleeding with a titanium labret. I put this earring in one week ago so easy to close just push it and hey presto. Done. My piercing is now well on the way to recovery. It is no longer sore bleeding or weeping.

UPDATE: Don’t waste your money. These were great for a while but then gradually turned black and tarnished and refused to get clean. Even bought some expensive jewellery cleaner from amazon but that did nothing. Don’t actually think they’re real silver, more like silver plated. Can’t return them either as the return window has closed.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought these as I was looking for a sleeping earring that were suitable to sleep in but easy for me to remove when needed. I have arthritis and struggle with my fingers due to my Ehlers Danlos syndrome, but needed them to easy to removed for scans and surgeries. I bought some separate earrings off eBay as I wanted some charms, but the earrings they came with were very flimsy

When I attempted to put this into my cartilage piercing, it completely tore it to pieces! My ear was bleeding for about twenty minutes and I’m having to restart the healing process even though I got the piercing over a year ago! Very disappointed - don’t try this on your cartilage.

I used this for a daith piercing. Just the right size, works perfectly. Easy to open and close but secure enough that it doesn't open by itself.

Overpriced surely. As a product it good, serves the purpose but not worth the price.

Very good quality although they were smaller than I expected them to be so very fiddly to handle but overall a great item
