Brilliant
This series of books is amazing. For a UK readership some words need ‘translating’ but that’s easily done and still keeps the rhythm. The themes of girl power, girls as scientists, resilience, hope, family and more stand out. Wonderful artwork too. My youngest has loved it since he was 4 and my eldest (9) still reads it. Totally recommended

A cute story showing that girls like STEM subjects too!
Love it! Love it! Love it! Hurray to finally seeing some diversity in a storybook with a positive and supportive family structure. I love these books by Andrea Beaty as they have great messages and diverse, strong lead characters. Even though Ada never gets to the bottom of the smell the process by which she tries to discover it, is exactly how advances in science, technology and engineering occur - you question everything make mistakes and try again! The illustrations are beautiful with lots of clever detail - I enjoy looking at them just as much as reading the story - did anyone else spot the Eames lounge chair!

Good continuation of exploring the characters in the class
We have iggy peck and rosie revere. It is our least favourite of the three but still lovely in how it encourages children to question their surroundings. My three year old was concerned by one bit involving ada trying to wash her cat but we skip that page until she is old enough to not be worried.

Great book from a great series.
A little less rhythmic than Rosie Revere Engineer, but a very decent story with a good exploration of searching for answers. Little one likes to make a bigger deal out of stinky socks since getting into this book.

fun, positive book for young children.
Bought this as a present for a 4 yr old girl and I'm told she really likes it. I think it would also be suitable for older children as well. Its a lovely story about an inquisitive young girl who likes to conduct science experiments to solve mysteries. It rhymes and has a nice rhythm to it that makes it fun to read. I bought it as I wanted a book that had a positive female role model in it, so I bought this and also 'The Paper Bag Princess' which is a book I remember enjoying when I was young.

Cant wait to read this with the little ones
I just LOVE these books and so does my 6 year old daughter. She loves Iggy Peck - architect and Rosie Revere engineer .... cant wait for her to see this book for Christmas! We were driving through Sheffield city center the other day and she said 'wow' and pointed out a bizarre/modern building - I mentioned that an architect will have designed what the building looks like - she said 'I know mummy like iggy peck' I said that's correct and said that an engineer then helps to design how the building can be put together to meet the architects expectations and she said I know mummy like Rosie revere. Brilliant!
