It does look good and that's about it.
Out of the box, side by side with a "homebrew" 1090MHZ antenna, this only pulls (message rates: 2-13mbps) while my Homebrew antenna pulls a good (275 - 450mbps message) rate!..I feel cheated.. too late return now.. This is being tested on X2 identical raspberry Pi4 with two identical SDR dongle from ADSB-Exchange both 32GB SD card, I pushed testing further, I swapped component to eliminate ay issues, turned out this antenna is a dud.. do not buy!

Great works as expected
Tracking 280 aircrafts per day. Yet to install on the roof, hopefully expecting more hits.

Disappointing performace
Very disappointing performance. I get worse results on by ADS-B station then I got with my simple $2 antenna.

Excellent Gain
I was very impressed with the gain that this antenna brought to the radios I tested it with. I used a Yaesu FT3D and a Baofeng UV17 Pro GPS. Both radios do a pretty good job of pulling in the air band (although, probably obviously, the Yaesu is better than the Baofeng by a pretty wide margin). Using this antenna immediately improved the reception for both radios.Overall construction seems pretty good. Mounting hardware is fairly standard. It's a very good antenna.
