ESR Classic Hybrid for iPhone 14/13 Case with Flex Stand, Clear

Since discovering this brand, all my past 3 iPhone have had this case: iPhone 15/16/ and now 18 Pro Max. I drop my phone at least once a day. The phone protector (not this brand) always cracks but nothing happens to the body. I love the kickstand, so convenient for hands-free use, including watching Netflix or YouTube videos. Love the clear case so I can see the color of my phone. Love the feel of the phone in my hands. My phone feels a bit heavier when it’s on, but, I Feel more secure when I have the case on my phone. And it feels so smooth, I want to hold my phone all the time. The size of the case it light. However, it does give the phone a bigger appearance. For such a simple design, the quality and reliability keeps me coming back for these iPhone cases.

It has a slim, sleek profile that doesn't add unnecessary bulk to the phone while still providing excellent drop protection.Feel & Grip: The material feels premium in the hand and is so much easier to grip than the bare glass of the phone. I haven't had any issues with it slipping out of my hands or pockets.Functionality: All of the buttons remain perfectly clicky and responsive. Couldn't find a better case. We are obsessed with the flex stand. It holds in place at any angle. Perfect for watching shows/movies. Protects the phone and the stand helps protect the cameras. This is perfect for all ages and so easy to use.

I like it. It was worth it. The magnet was great for holding the snap on wallet. The stand was an amazing feature. I truly love the stand on the camera. Use that feature every day, and I bought a replacement without it and that made reading on the phone hard. If you like to read on the phone, the stand works great to set it on a table and read. So basically bought the same case again to a replace the original worn down one. I have had the first case for 2 years.

Since I posted this review, and used the case on my new iPhone, I realized that while I love the case, I don't honestly love clear cases. So I have now purchased the case in Frosted Orange, which for me is just a more pleasing color combination. The buttons are still clicky, the case just as protective and I LOVE LOVE the Stash Stand. If there was one thing, I'd change, I would like the buttons to be separate, not built into the case itself. Building the buttons into the case, leaves an opening above and below the button, which could let dust get in between the case and your iPhone, but this isn't unusual and isn't really an issue. Otherwise, I just LOVE this case, even more so in Frosted Orange. Here is the original review I wrote: OK, so Apple hasn't even formally announced the new iPhone's coming, but I know I'll be getting the Pro Max version and I like to be prepared for a new iPhone well in advance of it's arrival. I was very pleased to see ESR already offering them for the 2025 models (likely to be called iPhone 17), so I went ahead and ordered a Pro and Pro Max in clear as we'll get both when we can preorder them. The case appears very well made as you'd expect from ESR as they are one of the really good case makers for iPhone. It's your typical Polycarbonate back, with TPU sides, which are grippy. ESR buttons are usually very clicky, but I won't know how they work on the new phone till it's in hand. I currently own iPhone 16 Pro Max and when they first came out, I bought a couple cases, none of which had a dedicated Camera Capture button built into the case. But when I got a case with a dedicated Camera Capture button, I realized that for me, it's mandatory on ALL future cases. And this case from ESR indeed has a Camera Capture button built in. ESR says this case is scratch resistant and that's really good as scratches do annoy me. But its certainly NOT scratch proof, so keep that in mind if buy this case. They also suggest the TPU sides of the case are anti-yellow, which is an added benefit. Only time will tell on that as eventually, TPU will yellow. Also built into this ESR case is what they call a Stash Stand. It actually surrounds the camera surround and is made of Zinc Alloy. It hides seamlessly, but when you pull it out, it turns into a stand you can use to prop your phone in either landscape or portrait orientation. The only question I have overall with the case is the camera surround is completely made of Polycarbonate, with precise sized openings for the cameras themselves. Not that this is a problem, but if dust get inside the area, it might be annoying as I'd need to remove my phone from the case to blow any dust out. Again, time will tell on this. Otherwise, while there are surely going to be lots of case options for the new phones this year, I can say without question that buying one from ESR is always a great choice in a case which is better made than lesser priced cases and it will provide excellent protection for an expensive iPhone with 3X Military Grade Protection.

My sister had an ESR case for her iPhone 14, and loved it. Se when I finally upgraded my XR to a 15 Pro, I decided to get the same case she had. When it arrived, it fit my iPhone 15 Pro like a glove. All the buttons work flawlessly. The case itself is crystal-clear, and I like the Slash Stand. I placed the case on my wife's Apple MagSafe charger, and it clicked on and held quite firmly, and immediately began charging. All in all, it worked exactly as ESR claimed it would... But you may want to order the ESR Classic Hybrid Case instead of this one IF you use 3rd-party magnetic chargers that do NOT "attach" magnetically to the back of your phone. I have two such chargers (one built into my Ford, and one which is a fold-up travel 3-in-1 charger for iPhone, Apple Watch, and Air Pods), and both of them produce a very weak magnetic field that will charge the phone if it's flat against the charger, but not if it's the tiniest bit mis-aligned. And the Slash Stand is just enough thicker than the normal camera protection "bump out" on the Classic Hybrid case, that it prevents my phone from charging in the Ford or on my charging stand. (See picture for the gap on my 3-in-1 charger.) TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR: This is NOT an issue with the ESR Slash Stand case. It works EXACTLY as advertised. The issue is with the 3rd-party chargers in the car and on my charging stand - the magnetic field is quite a bit weaker than Apple's MagSafe charger. But here's the truly amazing part: I contacted ESR to see if they had any suggested work-arounds for me. They acknowledged the issues with some 3rd-party mag chargers not working with the slash stand case, and offered to send me the "Classic Hybrid" case (identical to the one I purchased, but without the Slash Stand) at no charge. They did this without prompting or hesitation, and told me there was no need to return the Slash Stand case - just keep it or dispose of it however I chose. The ESR Classic Hybrid Case just arrived, and it looks and feels exactly like the ESR Slash Stand case, just without the metal Slash Stand surrounding the bump-out that protects the cameras. And the Classic Hybrid case works perfectly in my car and on my desktop 3-in-1 chargers. THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the very definition of "Excellent Customer Service." The ESR product I purchased worked EXACTLY as ESR claimed it would work, yet they replaced it at no charge.

very impressed with the quality and sleekness of design. kick stand works great and it comes with a 2 year warranty!

Had this case for about a year. The camera stand up feature broke about 10 months in but overall a very good case. Back does get a little dirty but when it’s clean looks great with the phone. Durability is pretty good too, not the best but I was mostly looking for a sleek nice design. MagSafe is fairly decent as well.
