Originally bought to hang a shade tarp.It worked and when the tarp gave out, we continued to use the kit outside for lights.Hang properly and it will change the ambiance at night.

Very simple to use and it comes with everything you'll need plus some extras just in case. I've used this product before and it is held up really really well.

Just the thing we needed to properly hang the lights up. Just needed to make a few adjustments since we put it up. No big deal.

For then last two years we had about 150' of 'commercial grade' string lights from the big box membership club. The problem was, we had three large open areas (50' across each, approx.). We originally hung our lights with no wire. Within weeks they started sagging. The looked "okay", but in some areas taller people had to duck under them and it put the bulbs at eye level and did not create a good atmosphere.We saw a restaurant that had these lights and used wire rope.I found this kit on Amazon and compared the price of the components to the big box hardware stores.The price of the wire rope alone ($.40') was going to be more than this total kit. Plus, our local store that had the vinyl wrapped wire rope wanted $.79'!!!!!! Lastly, the clips for the wire in this kit are much more simple to use and attractive when compared to what they offer locally in the stores.We ordered this kit and had it installed within two hours. Would have been faster but we hung them at 10' and had to use ladders.They look so much better now and the cost of the kit was less than half the price of a single strand of lights.We actually had a lot of hardware left over. But at this price, you can't beat it.Very happy!

Wire was easy to install. Just installed so I can’t say much on its durability. Comes with everything you need and then some!

Used this to hang up two 50 foot sets of cafe lights. So far so good. I was able to get it all set up myself in a few hours tops. The wire appears to be strong and the components look like they will hold up well also. I would definitely buy again if I needed something like this in the future.

Super helpful for hanging the Govee lights we got from Amazon without having them sag. Turn buckles were extra helpful and the only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the tiny screws for the wire terminus. But that can't really be mitigated without a much more involved apparatus. I would have been nice if the screws were a bit larger and pre-threaded, but again not a star off offense. I'm likely going to order another pack to hang more sets.

This kit has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very easy to use, and the quality feels great.I used it to hang outdoor string lights on my patio with four anchor points: a brick wall, a tree, and two spots on a shed. The instructions were clear, and the whole setup process was surprisingly simple, even for someone like me who is definitely not very “handy.”We’ve already gone through a major wind storm since installing the lights, and everything has stayed very secure. I’ve been really impressed with how well it holds up.

Great kit for hanging the Govee and other similar product lights. It had all I needed. I would NOT recommend to hang your lights without this or a similar product. I have several sets of Govee lights up in different locations around my property and since installation we have had several bad wind and rain storms, very high wind. There wasn's a strain on the lights or their electrical cable as it was all the pressure of the adverse weather was handled by the properly installed lights using this kit. I suspect if I tried installation with the lighting wires only that they would not be working at this time.

I got this wire kit to hang up some string lights. It worked very well and I also had enough left over to use to make guy wires for my 12ft Halloween Grim Reaper in my yard.I like that the hardware will not rust, the cable is thin but also strong and has a black coating so it blends in well compared to steel color
