Excellent padlock for the price

Great heavy duty lock
For the price I was very impressed. I bought this to secure the shed I keep my mobility scooter in. It's very solid and heavy and we bought 2 more to replace existing shed padlocks.

Good enough and great value for money
Tip for rusted locks: spray lots of WD40 or similar into it until the key turns. Then strike it with a hammer on the top surface above the key to get the lock mechanism loose. I had one fully seize but managed to free it up. Then I packed it with grease and it has been fine since. If you can lock it with the keyway facing down it helps, or better still if you can keep it under some sort of cover. I have three of these and the keys definitely DO NOT fit all the locks - can only assume that review is a troll or competitor. Also not sure what the reviewer who had his cut through by an angle grinder thinks would have happened with literally any other lock on the planet? What you get is a very sturdy lock for very little money. The rust issue is manageable/preventable; if you want to spend five times as much on a one without any rust issues, do that instead.

Terrible quality.
Rusted badly, failed lock mechanism inside a month on both. Absolute junk.

Strong and secure and hard wearing
I got this to be the lock on a container I am renting. It is great for the job, and after being out in the elements it has not rusted or got stiff at all. It is an attractive silver colour, but once fitted in the container door, do do not really see it. It is avery sturdy and secure lock. It seems weatherproof and still is very smooth and easy to open and close after about a year. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review!
