This book has helped me soo much with A level English Literature. A level English Lit is a big jump from GCSE English and I personally struggled with the transition so this book was invaluable. It really helped clarify what was expected of me as an A level English student and helped me fulfil those expectations. This book is well written in a lively and engaging style and it applies to all exam boards. It covers modules such as the unseen poetry and writing in the light of others by the same poet. It is also very useful for the English literature coursework and has useful sections about referencing, how to use literary critics and critical theory. I would recommend to anyone doing English literature at A level.

Excellent resource - terrible quality printing which is a shame. Can't see the book physically lasting very long which is a shame - especially as it's not cheap.

Useful added sections for the new specifications. Especially liked the material on different productions of 'Streetcar'. Will recommend to my students.

Really helpful book, but the quality upon printing is awful, half the front cover has moved to the back cover! Doesn't look good at all!
