I purchased this item in the past and gave it as a gift to a co-worker. It was just as pictured, in fact nicer, and I was very pleased with it and so was the recipient. I recently purchased another, and it was very well received and liked. I will definitely purchase more in the future. I bought this for some co-workers who loved it. It stands up on its own. Although they immediately thought it was a paperweight that lays down flat, I like it used standing up because that way you can see the beautiful design and read the sentiment. It was a nice gift and a good value for the quality.
