Works great, stayed dry!
Had lower back surgery and needed to cover the 10" incision when I took a shower. They were easy for my friend to apply over my bandage and completely sealed it and it never got my bandage wet.

Stays waterproof
If you've never used tegaderm may be difficult to put on but once on stays put and doesn't let any water in. Better then tegaderm for showers

Works well
I followed nurses instructions for waterproofing surgical site using waterproof medical tape and plastic. The site became soaked after shower. I then found this product on Amazon and being that I shower everyday I thought I'd give it a try. Today I had help applying it and removing it, but my surgery site was dry after shower. Worked much better than the waterproof medical tape & plastic method. I have not yet tried installing/removing it myself, so tomorrow will be the first test of self-care.

Wasted money, horrible skin reactions
Don't work at all! Horrible. Most didn't stick at all, those that did didn't stop water and soap from getting in. I had a horrible allergic reaction, my skin in on fire where I used these and I haven't even started radiation yet. I needed to keep my marks made for radiation covered so they wouldn't wash away with sweat or showering, these just didn't do the trick at all

Needs Better Directions
Directions for use on pictorial only on the back of a 3x5” card which is not obvious to find nor understand. A few simple words explaining each step would be great. Obviously it becomes easier with practice but waste could be eliminated with some simple words by each picture explaining what I’m looking at and the method being used.

Tagaderm — perfect size for the job
I have to order often — they are used to protect a chest port for dialysis during showering. This port is not an easy one to cover and keep water right any other way. I appreciate this protection for the catheder at this time.If you haven't used this product before, application might take a little a little time getting used to. It had really good grip and is not difficult to remove when you are finished.**Pro Tips — clean skin around port bandage with witch hazel. Rubbing alcohol can be too drying for already irritated skin. Cover port bandage with press and seal plastic. A small piece wrapped around two dropped down ports & then a piece cut to fit for the upper part. Shingle tagaderm by covering bottom first with a piece trimmed to fit then place a piece over the top half of the area. It is stretchy, so it can conform to curves. make sure your edges are sealed (if not, cut a small strip to add extra to edge). 👍☕
