Tierra Garden Haxnicks Easy Fleece Jacket

3 stars for durability as I have not used them yet as it's August. I have taken them out of the packet and had a good look. I bought the small size which measures approx 30 x 23 inches which fits easily over a 15inch diameter plant pot. They are not heavy so not likley to damage any leaves etc, allow light through and have a handy drawstring at the bottom to ensure the bag is kept in place.

Very efficient fleece jackets. Good quality. I purchased them twice to protect my small olive trees. They survived -15 degrees Celsius last winter.

Only lasted one winter,thin fabric.

Really easy to use, I put it on the manuka, and it came just in time to save it from the frosts and snow. It ties well at the bottom and has stayed on during the winds we've been getting. The items were sent well packed and nicely, so Thank You for that. Highly Recommend.

I use this to to protect my large acer from wind when budding and it’s done the job … just need to ensure to double tie it so the wind doesn’t take it . I’ve used it over the last two years and had no problems.

These did not come with any instructions so I have to assume that any common sense use should make them work well - however I wrapped my lovely lemon tree with it for a couple of weeks during a cold spell and it basically killed it. All of the twigs turned black and it subsequently lost all of its leaves. I don’t have high hopes I’ll be able to bring it back to life after nurturing it successfully for a number of years…

Fantastic bags which covered and protected our fuchsias over the chilly nights and saved us moving them into the garage. Very easy to use although if you have a plant that’s a bit woody, it can catch but you just have to do it carefully. Will order more in the future. A good tip if you have particularly delicate leafy plants, get four small canes and put them in each corner or around the plant with a cane protector on the top of each one so they don’t rip through fabric, it makes it easier to slip the bag on top and also keeps the fabric off the leaves if it’s particularly blowy. Great bags. We got medium size for a total pot and plant height of about 2 foot and there was plenty of room so we just tucked the bottom of the bag and the pull tie under the big dish that’s under the plant pot, works well.
