The underside of a Mac Studio catches a lot of dust. I mean a lot. When I traded in my M1 Max Mac Studio and was unplugging it, I was shocked to see the massive, thick dust ring that had collected. I had not cleaned the underside in 2.5 years! This stand has a built in air filter so when the Mac Studio sucks in air the dust is filtered. The filter is washable. The stand fits the Mac Studio perfectly and it looks good too. It is pricey, but as far as I know Spigen is the only one selling such a stand so I guess they can dictate the price without competition. I'm planning on keeping my pricey M4 Max Mac Studio for 5 years at least, so this stand is an investment. What is an extra $50 bucks when you just dropped $3K, right?

One thing that bothered me about my new Mac Studio M4 is that the geniuses at Apple did not incorporate a non-slip base into the product's design. This item solves this problem, along with a reusable dust filter. Now, the MS M4 is nice and steady, with a protection layer to check dust buildup. This is especially important if, like me, you have your MS M4 running 24/7. A little pricey, but if you can afford a Mac Studio then $49 for slippage and dust protection is a no brainer.

I bought this to help filter the air going into the Mac Studio so that the insides would not get covered with dust, potentially causing some electronic issues with the computer.

Good product given the amount of dust these things acumulate in a short time. Take note you do loose the kensington slot but Im ok with that.

This is a good base for mac studio but as for keeping the dust outside - very doubtful. I examined the dust intake before and after and did not notice any difference. Looks like this is just a nice looking gimmick.
