Sharples Mouse 'n' Squeak, Grey and Red

This mouse has proved to be a real hit with my cat. She usually gets bored with toys really quickly, but she plays with this mouse daily. It, rather scarily, looks quite realistic, apart from the red tail, which is how I distinguish between the toy and the real mice she kindly brings me. As the cat throws the mouse around, or you throw it for your cat, it squeaks, which drive my cat to a frenzy. It is very sensitive, so it even goes off when we tread heavily on the floorboards, which can be a pain. However, it is worth it to see my cat playing like a kitten again with this wonderful squeaky toy. My cat highly recommends it.

Came fast, about 3 days after I ordered it. Better than I though it would be tbh it’s really soft material and really light so the cat can throw it around as he pleases effortlessly. My kitten loves it, look him a minute of poking at it with his paw to figure out weather he wants to engage with it or not but after two minutes of warming up to it he loved it. The squeaking is a bit annoying tho it’s quite high pitched and will have to be taken off the cat for the night.

I have two cats; one is scared of the mouse and the other loves it and can't play with it enough. The one who loves it plays with it everywhere, flings it up in the air, chases and catches it, rolls around biting it, only to throw it and catch again. The squeak always gets her excited and ready to play. She also carries it around the house with her. It has been such a hit that I will buy another of these so our cat can play with it both upstairs and downstairs and save us and her searching for it as often as it is forever disappearing after play, such as under the bed, sofa etc. Meanwhile our other cat who is scared will watch all of this from a safe distance and is happy so long as he isn't the one playing with it! He usually likes mouse toys but clearly ones that don't squeak! The mouse is a good size (not too big/small), it is furry, and the tail long enough so you can also interact and throw it about to engage them in play. It squeaks with just a gentle touch/tapping. As other reviewers say, the squeak is more of a chirrup however our cat doesn't mind!

Not very good quality at all. My cats only had it one day and the stitching came undone. I'm concerned in case the battery came out and was swallowed.

I bought this as my 5 month old kitten wrecked the one I already had for my 3 year old cat, this looks better than the one I had, it's very pressure sensitive, a little pat sets it of, though the sound isn't like a real mouse, it's OK, and she loves it, as did my older cat, had to buy another, so they could have 1 each, though it can be rather annoying after an hour or so of it continually going off, but that's the joy of kittens, distract them, hide the toy for a while, then bring it out when your ears have recovered, they both love the mice, so I'm happy to give 5 stars

Wow, the slightest movement in the near vicinity of this thing makes it start chirping (and it is chirping, not squeaking). I closed the front door yesterday (which sticks a bit) and it set it off - in the room next door. The cat isn't scared of it, as some had said in their reviews, but neither is she immensely interested. It seems well made, and I'm sure for the right cat it would be a great toy. It doesn't seem that my cat is the right cat though.

I bought this for one of my cats, she mainly stays inside and isn't usually playful so I was hoping to find something that would stimulate her a little - and that's exactly what I found in this cat toy. After arrival, I open it up and pulled out the tag and was quite surprised by how loudly the mouse squeaked. My cat is usually quite easily spooked but had no problem with the noise, it's a reasonably sized toy as well, which I found to be good as my cat otherwise may not have played with it. She absolutely loves it, tilting the mouse causes it to squeak loudly though so I occasionally need to confiscate it. The fact that it has catnip probably plays a large role in her taking such a liking to the toy, but I feel as though if the catnip eventually wears off it'll still be used.

Bought one of these to replace a very old squeaky mouse toy that had come to it's end. First of all I must say my cats' loved it the noise it makes is more like a computer game but nevertheless they loved it so after two days ordered a second one so they had one each. Two days after receiving the second one it had come apart and the squeaker had come out so contacted Amazon and a replacement was sent. In under two weeks the other two had also come apart so had to take them away from my cats as unsafe. My cats did what cats do picked it up run around with it and thrown them around so if they come apart this way then they are not fit for purpose the fact that all 3 have done the same shows it was not just a one off, shame as my cats loved them.

Non avete idea di che gran regalo fate al vostro gatto ,è paragonabile a una play station per un ragazzo ,vi divertirete anche voi nel vedere come come si diverte .

First the tail came off (within 24 hours), then the red ear came loose and then the internal body fluff started coming out of the mouse. I sewed up the mouse twice, only to have the fabric of the mouse then split and fall apart. I do not recommend this product

Kitty's favorite mouse! The catnip doesn't do much for my cat, but the squeaking noise the mouse makes drives her nuts. It's great. Really stimulates her and gets her to play with it. Great product!

Sorry for these words, but my both cats are not playing with the play-mouse... 😕

Bello e di qualita, morbido, bel suono, sembra vero. Ma il mio gatto manco lo gurda. Non e` interessato assolutamente, peccato((
