It requires a very aggressive fluffing. I recommend 10 to 12 massive shakes to get the air circulating through the down. If you want big, thick, fluffy, and warm, BUY THIS! This blanket is exactly what I wanted for cold Michigan winters. I got the oversized 120x120 and it fits my split king perfectly! My bed has deep pockets and this duvet covers all the sides nicely. I was hoping for just a little more on the sides but that's my fault for not measuring correctly for my needs. This duvet is the WARMEST I've ever had and was perfect for my cold old Victorian house. It is on the heavier side because of it's size and thickness though. I have a duvet cover on it and it has held up great in the cover. It did have a slight SMELL when I first opened it, but it has bird feathers in it, so of course there's going to be a slight smell. I used my steamer right out of the package and the smell was a little worse with the humid air but once it dried, the smell was GONE. The steamer puffed every cell right up though! I've tested this Luxurious Egyptian Bedding All-Season Goose Down Feather Duvet around two months now and have noticed that because it is so large and fluffy it is a little heavy. That being said after a few days of not making the need it will slide down just a little. Otherwise, making the need every day the covers stay up on us every night. No need to worry about this slipping off the bed at all. It can be hard to pull the duvet up to snuggle with if it is down at all though because it is heavier and much larger than most blankets. If you're not getting a 120x120, I wouldn't worry so much about the size and weight though. The ties are sewn securely and I have not had any stitching come loose at all even with how big it is and pulling the duvet cover around on the bed. It is a soft cotton cover but because it's cotton it does have a bit of noise when moving around. It is not really loud to me, it's actually comforting for me. But if you're concerned about any sounds, it's not microfiber so there will be a little noise while moving around. I'm extremely happy with this duvet and might get one or two more so when this one wears out, I'll have a backup. It's that amazing. I hope I could answer some of your questions. DO NOT WASH. USE A STEAMER. WARM. FLUFFY. AMAZING. You won't regret buying this. It's truly the best I've used.

Updated: Changed to 4 stars due to customer service and them reaching out to me to make things right they truly care about there customer satisfaction. For context I purchased this exact same comforter in white 3 years ago. You read it correct its been 3 years and it still has maintained its shape softness and fluffiness after numerous washes in a front load washing machine no feathers came out ever NOTHING its been absolutely perfect the best hotel feel comfortable i have ever owned. Now for this monstrosity why ruin a perfectly good product! Why? I purchased a black one to replace my old one it’s terrible! 1st the noise it feel and sounds like i am sleeping with a wind breaker jacket its loud and rough on the skin second the stitching is cheap like they skipped steps on craftsman ship to spend less on production and still charge a high price for not a high quality product. Returned! Shame on the company i attached a video and pics for you to see the difference hope this helps.

Awesome comforter at a great price!! Fit perfect and is nice and thick just as expected. Definitely will keep you warm durning the winter!! This is my second one. Here’s a photo of it!! Comes in vacuum sealed package. Give it a couple days and it will plump up and look great!!

I had got a blanket for my birthday from a friend. However, I felt like it was too heavy - so I was on the lookout for another blanket. My hairdresser actually showed me this and said she really liked it on her bed. Needless to say there was a coupon on the Amazon site and I used that when I ordered this to get a little bit of money off - which helped! Once I got this on my bed I was absolutely in love with this blanket! I realized I don’t like heavier blankets, I like lighter blankets, and this blanket is very light. It’s almost like having a sheet on your bed. I actually sleep with another thin quilt/blanket underneath it (instead of a top sheet) and it’s the perfect weight for me. It keeps me very very warm but not uncomfortably warm. I usually tend to turn my heat down a little bit at night and this is perfect to slide under, and I feel very comfortable! I actually liked this so much that I decided to buy one for my son too. I felt like he deserved a new blanket too. The only issue I have is I really like a blue version of this blanket too LOL - so I might actually buy a third blanket just to keep it on hand! I would very much recommend this blanket. I know there are some reviews on here that aren’t great - but I think if you’re looking for a light blanket that will keep you warm and be comfortable 👉🏻 this is a good one to start with! I don’t think it’s that noisy. It looks good on my bed. I am very pleased with it and like I said I bought I already bought another one - and I’m considering a third one and at this point! I might just get rid of all my so-so blankets in my house (and I have about 7 of them!) and just keep these on hand! I think they’re wonderful! I think if you watched for a coupon the price is also very reasonable. These will make a great gift for friends and family. I am very happy with my down blanket and I would very much recommend this to anyone asking me what kind of blanket I use!

Not normally a review writer, but wanted to share how great these comforters are. When we upgraded beds, I went down a rabbit hole (like, hours and hours) trying to find an ethical down comforter that would be a maximum level of fluffy. It was really difficult to find something in this price range that’s Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified, but finally found this brand. A palatial king will fill out a king sized duvet for a true overstuffed look. I just received my oversized queen and it looks like it will do the same in a queen duvet. There are plenty of loops for duvet ties. Fluffs right up if washed and dried thoroughly with tennis balls. I live at 10,000 feet in a generally cold location and sometimes find this too hot (although I have it overstuffed inside of a linen duvet). So it’s plenty warm. Absolutely recommend as a high quality, ethical product!

C’est une couette de bonne qualité, le design est beau. Mais, pour avoir déjà eu une couette en duvet, je trouve qu’elle est beaucoup moins chaude. La grandeur est parfaite pour mon lit queen.
