Fantastic value, fantastic mouse, as good as the best I have ever used.
I bought this mouse as an alternative to the more expensive Evoluent mouse, which, by the way, is excellent. Both are vertical mice, which means that your hand is actually in a natural position when using it. This means that there is no stress or tension on the muscles in your forearm, which means less stress overall, and it minimises the risk of nerve injury or repetitive strain injury. In my case, using a vertical mouse also helped me to completely recover from a nerve injury which stopped me driving and also resulted in me having to take time off work. This is part of the solution - keeping your keyboard as flat as possible and making sure that your wrists are not angled upwards (if necessary by rising the height of your chair and using a footstool for your feet, so that your keyboard is lower will also help). Try getting rid of any wrist rests, as they tend to make your wrist angle upwards, putting stress and strain on those muscles and tendons. It worked for me - I have been pain free for over three years now. I have been a huge fan of the Evoluent mouse for this reason, and when it broke and I needed a replacement I saw this and decided to give it a try as it is a fraction of the price of a new Evoluent. I am so glad that I did. Note, that this mouse is for RIGHT-HANDED use. I don't know if there is a left handed version, but they are not interchangeable. The mouse has a USB dongle, which is stored underneath the mouse when not in use. When I first put the dongle into the computer it didn't work, but a re-start of Windows sorted that problem out immediately. The mouse actually feels more comfortable than the Evoluent, if that is possible, as that is one of the best mice I have ever used. This TeckNet mouse has a soft, rubberised, smooth feel and fits my hands perfectly. The sensitivity was spot-on straight out of the box, and the cursor is smooth and responsive. For full disclosure, I work in the field of disability and often recommend equipment to people using computers. I will be purchasing these as the first choice mouse to try in future, a) because of the tremendous value, b) because it is as good as the Evoluent and c) because your hand is supported in a natural position which will minimise injury. Absolutely recommend this product. You will need 2 x AA batteries for the mouse as these are not supplied. I generally review any products I buy on Amazon, because I only ever purchase products myself after reading the reviews of others. Absolutely brilliant design
Absolutely brilliant. Love the colour. Connects easily to laptop. What I enjoy is I shut off laptop and it puts wireless mouse in sleep mode. Fits my hand well, moves with easy. Is a quiet mouse can barely hear any clicking. Good value for the money. Would highly recommended.

Good value and comfortable to use
This is the first vertical mouse I have used, and I'm very happy with it. I have a Chromebook, so I was concerned whether it would work with my device but it was simply "plug and play" as promised. I was also concerned whether the sensitivity settings (dpi) would be suitable, but the three available settings seem quite widely spread and I found the middle one to be just right for me. EDIT: My first pair of AAA batteries (Amazon basics) lasted only 4 months in this mouse, but I am quite a heavy user. If like me you've never used a vertical mouse before then it takes some getting used to, but I found it to be very comfortable. The buttons themselves make a distinct clicking sound, while the scroll wheel is quieter and easy to use. The only criticism I have is that the buttons are so smooth that I find my fingers can sometimes slip down them causing me to move the mouse sideways when I'm clicking them. I bought this vertical mouse partly to help with pain in my hands from long periods of computer use, and it does seem to have helped. UPDATE: Scrolling with the mouse wheel has stopped working properly despite all my efforts to fix it. I still think it's a nice mouse and good value so I've ordered the same mouse again as a replacement.

Absolutely Worth It
I’ll be honest - this felt so unnatural at first. Switching to a vertical mouse after years of using a standard one takes some getting used to, and for the first couple of days, I wasn’t sure if I’d made the right choice. Probably even the first week! I could use it fine but it just felt a little off. But with so many good reviews I decided to stick with it, and I’m so glad I did! After just a few days, I noticed something bizarre - my hand naturally started gravitating toward the exact position this mouse puts it in. Initially it felt like the "wrong" position but it didn't take long before I realised it was just different but this is a much more natural position overall! The vertical, ergonomic design really does make a difference and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my wrist and thumb comfort (I've had RSI before so always aware of pain as soon as it starts - hence looking into this mouse to begin with!) Aside from the ergonomic benefits, the mouse itself is just really nice to use. The soft-touch finish feels great under my hand, and the silent buttons are a nice touch if that's your preference too! I don't mind clicky buttons but these are lovely and silent, not that spongey silent that some are. It looks really smooth and sleek, is a good weight and is smooth and responsive! The durability seems good (only had it a couple of weeks so far) but seems really well made! It doesn't light up so no worries around excessive brightness or any extra lights running through the batteries! The adjustable DPI settings are another great feature, allowing you to tweak the sensitivity to exactly what you need for different tasks. If you find the DPI settings aren't "quite" right, set it to the closest one and then go into your mouse settings and change the speed there just once point and you'll get it spot on! (That's what I did!) If you're hesitant about trying a vertical mouse, I completely get it - it’s a strange feeling at first! But stick with it for a few days, and you’ll be amazed at how quickly it starts to feel natural. For anyone struggling with wrist or thumb pain, this is an absolute must-have. I only wish I had switched sooner! Once I got over the weird feeling of it being a different shape/position, literally no complaints from me at all!

Better than the Anker equivalent
Well I've been using this for 14 months now after having TWO Anker equivalents die on me in just over 12 months! I'd had enough of the failing Ankers so decided to try this as well as the Hama equivalent. The mouse has been faultless and I'm still on the original batteries! I've had no issues with the DPI switching either as other's have mentioned. It works on most surfaces too, whereas the Anker knock-offs I've tried don't. The only slight issue for me? I've had to have the DPI setting on the top setting which seems to equate to the mid settings of most other mice, so if you like a really high DPI, i.e. very sensitive settings then perhaps look elsewhere. In terms of comfort, as a person who is well used to vertical mice, it's as good as any and I use it for 8 hours a day sometimes as part of my job with no issues. I would also add that the buttons have a good feel to them, i.e. not too hard to get a response like cheaper versions, and not too soft to accidentally press them. I have to say, without a doubt in my opinion, this is the best value wireless vertical mouse on the market. It does what all the others do for a lot less in price. By the way, the Hama is top notch too but obviously more expensive. Lastly, a word on all of these rubberised soft feel mice. They all take time for your natural hand 'oils' to sink in to be at their 'grippy' best, so if they feel a little slippy at first, stick with them, they get better believe me!

Good Mouse, Some Issues
TeckNet, Thankyou for creating and selling this mouse at a very competitive price. I've been using it with my laptop (Running Ubuntu 14.04) for about a month now and overall I am satisfied with the product but have a few specific issues and would like to suggest some possible upgrades. When changing DPI sensitivity it isn't necessarily obvious what the current setting is. If you could update the driver so that unity notifications are pushed upon changes to the DPI I'm sure the upgrade would be appreciated by all Ubuntu / Linux users. I would like an easy way to reprogram the forward / backward buttons with macros too. They are positioned well but could be used more effectively. For the standard user I feel the buttons should be swapped - it feels counter-intuitive to press the button furthest ahead of me "forwards" to go backwards and vice versa. For me the mouse battery only lasted a few weeks, dramatically less than what was promised. I believe this is because I often carry the mouse in my laptop bag and walk with it for several miles every day, whilst walking buttons on the mouse are clicked often waking it up and wasting battery life. This causes another issue - because the mouse cover is securely fastened a small amount of force is necessary to open the battery case, I believe this is enough force to damage the seal slightly with each opening which reduces the products lifetime expectancy. A possible solution to the battery issue would be through an on/off mechanism. By holding down the DPI button for three seconds you could toggle this state, this seems unlikely to occur whilst the the mouse is contained inside a bag. I do not believe any of the suggested improvements require significant hardware changes and should thus be relatively cheap to implement. If you would like feedback on other products do not hesitate to send me additional merchandise (contact [email protected]), I will review any such gifts free of charge. Thankyou again for providing a cost-effective solution that improves the productivity of entry-level professionals. The many hours you have saved are a indirect contribution to our economy and welfare as a society.

Leggero e comodo, ottimo!!!

Mak

Comfortable, productive, wireless vertical mouse
When I first saw this mouse, I was surprised at the price of such a stylish vertical mouse. When I first received the product, it was very well boxed and neatly organised. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The product does not feel or look cheap. I was very impressed with the material of the mouse, being a smooth and grippy material. The mouse fits nearly every hand, even my hands (I’m 7ft)! My favourite feature has to be the usb connection, it allows for users to use the mouse from almost anywhere in the room they are in. As well, it performs great on all surfaces, (mouse pad, glass, bed, wall, wood, desk, etc.). The buttons are very easy to click, and are not loud in any way! I appreciate the DPI changing feature, allowing for the best use of the mouse for all users. The page next and back buttons are a great feature, especially if you work with limited space! It saves having to move the mouse to the top of the screen. Also, if you are worried that the mouse will be hard to pick up when using it and move to the middle of your mouse pad, believe me, it is easy, thanks to the thumb grips! The only downside is the scroll wheel is particular in that, it works best when you scroll it at a 45 degree angle. If you try and scroll it vertically, it feels odd, and with pressure does not perform the best. But don’t worry, if you use it properly, it is great! All in all, this thing does a spectacular job and has impressed me! If you’re debating between a more expensive but nicer looking mouse and this one, then you should go with this mouse here! Not only does it look great, it performs great and will help your sore wrist or hand.
