the day seymour duncan stop making this pickup will be a sad day as we move into a world of more modern sounds and tech this pickup sounds just like guitars used to.vintage clean tone like a gibson semi and distortion like a smooth les paul thru a marshall paul

Pickup was all black not as in picture. Can be fitted easily if you can use a soldering iron.Fitted in neck position in my Epiphone G-400. Full sound good for Jazzy stuff, Blues.....Purchased (£125) with a JB (in bridge) should have done this ages ago!

I dont use the neck pickup very often but figured I may as well install a decent one at the same time as a JB I put in the bridge.Sounds very clean. Well worth the effort and not as pricey as I expected.Installed in an Ibanez Iceman. Just be sure to order the correct version as there is a standard 2 wire option as well as a 4/5 wire option for installing a coil tap.

It doesn't have the Seymour Duncan writing on the cover. I got this to match my JB and it just looks like a stock pickup. I ordered a replacement and they sent another blank one. I'm sure it sounds great but it's not as shown in the picture. They also charged me for double even though I returned both fake pickups!!!

Accoppiato al manico ad un Seymour Duncan SH13 (montato al ponte), ha ridato vita ad una Fender Meteora HH che suonava spenta e senza energia, ora il suono è articolato, dinamico, presente e buca il mix nel gruppo sia in pulito, crunch e distorto, rendendo la chitarra finalmente utilizzabile! Peccato solo mi sia arrivata la versione a due fili e non a 4 (quindi non splittabile), Amazon mi ha proposto un indennizzo congruo, che ho accettato (visto che raramente uso il ponte in single coil)

Excellent micro Seymour Duncan, chaud, brillant tant en clair que saturation. Pour les amoureux des son 60's/70's. Attention sur ce modèle pas de zébra crème / noir mais noir/noir. Je le recommande les yeux fermés.
