Mostly contains almond oil jojoba oil and seed oil. Smells of almonds.

Does this work on top of nail varnish?

Hi Samantha...in answer to your question yes it does. I do a start from scratch manicure on a Sunday evening and rub this in and leave as long as I can then I paint my nails then before I go to bed I put the oil on again. I then use it every morning and night it's lovely and smells awesome. I purchased the big bottle and habe been using it since April 2015! Its only now coming to the end and obviously doesnt smell like it did due to it being opened all the time but still does the job and mafe my nailso.g a d strong...enjoy!

Can this be applied on top of nail polish?

I apply it to the cuticle and sides and base of nail even when I have nail polish on. I massage the area around the cuticle.

I need to fix ugly nails but will this look like I have clear nail polish on?

No it won't..when you initally put it on its greasy but just rib it in and it absorbs..it smelly gorgeous..I had my large bottle since April 2015 and it just coming to the end now and the smells not the same as obviously from opening it at least twice a day the smell fades. Love the product and after about 10 min till an hour or so of applying it after I've done a manicure I will then just paint my nails. I'm the nights I put it on last and leave it to soak in overnight (which is on my painted nails). Hope I've helped.
