Very good book that explains how the profession of interior architecture came to be. Must buy for anyone interested in the history of interior architecture.

really cool book, really good for looking right back from when the first type of interior design started out right the way through to now. i would totally recomend this book to those that want to have a really deep study of interior design.

This is a summary on the evolution of different styles throughout history and places. The cleverly chosen illustrations enable even novices to capture the essential characteristics of each style. This book reviews including ghotique, baroque, classicism, art nouveau, art deco and others ... My only complaint is about the latest styles of XX and XXI th that are a little too briefly discussed.

pretty heavy it's a hard copy and I needed it for school. actually it turned out to be a bit cheaper than a classmate as she did buy the last one at the school store.
