Used twice. On second use waist band ripped and completely detached from backpack. Very poor quality. Not durable at all.

Would be good on someone with a 36 inch waist getting tight at 38 inch. I'm 33 inch and was a bit disappointed I could not tighten the waist buckle. I got everything in with a very tight squeeze without using compression sacks to get everything the smallest it can be. I dare not tighten the straps due to a review on here I read after purchasing. Nothing has snapped yet.

The pockets are all configured to be internal so when you fill the main compartment you cannot use the pockets. Whole idea of the pockets is to store kit you need quickly so the bag does not work very well. Zips are very lightweight and when under strain, I am sure will break. The outer strop loops are non expanding so when you come to loop through stuff (i was forced to use these to hold my emergency hauling chord) break so you can only use every other one. The external side pockets, when the rucksack is full, have no "give" in them so you cannot insert you thermos. The locking catches are not very robust and I expect these to break. the carry straps, when you carry a full load dig in to your shoulders. The draw chord at the top is of poor quality and the holder poorly made - it fell apart on first use.Good points - nice colour - orange, nice chest clip, fits snugly to your back. Would I suggest to my DoFE kids to buy it - No. I am to use it tonight on a 10 Klms night exercise in minus 9 so lets see who it fares - any broken zips and its back to seller.
