Difficut to clean
The mug is attractive and pretty much like the standard screw tops of its type. I gave this as a gift, to a colleague, but it was difficult to clean around the seal of the lid and after a while, black mould grew where you couldn't get to it to clean it. I only buy silicone lidded travel mugs now, for this reason.

NOT HAPPY.
I needed a new mug as ALL the mugs I have bought have been leaking and not sealing properly. I do not recommend this item one bit;- It does not close properly- It Leaks- There is nothing to protect your hands from the heat of the boiling water that the plastic conducts- I can only assume that "wakey wakey!" an unintentional joke that is best experienced when trying to drink from this mug in the morning when it so eloquently bestows a continuous drip of boiling hot tea down your top.NOT HAPPY.

Does not seal.
It does not seal. The top is sort of to prevent splashes while driving. Any more vigorous expectations regarding the seal are unfounded.

Terrible, leaks every time I use it. The lid is clearly faulty and does not lock onto the cup properly.
