This is the second time I'm ordering these drain covers. It's good value and they last a while I just like to switch it out when it gets too moldy or gets unsightly or discolored. They are easy to wash though and can last a long time! They keep the hair out of the drain. Very functional.

I ordered these to replace an old one. At first I wasn’t as pleased because the bottom edge wouldn’t sit flush to the tub. I tried twisting and pushing at the same time but finally I took my thumb and pushed down on the recessed part and it fits snug.It does a good job catching the hair! As for the reviews that are upset about water building up, that’s a sign the strainer is working. It is easily fixed by clearing out the hair as it accumulates. I keep a pair of tweezers on the side of the tub. When the water starts building up I know the drain catcher is doing it’s job. I pluck out the hair with the tweezers and it drains again. Sometimes I need to clear it twice while showering. Depends on how long your hair is or how much hair loss you have. It’s a trade off ... a little extra work while showering, but it will save time and frustration later because your drain isn’t clogged with hair.

Used for a dog kennel bath in addition to in built. Works amazing. Easy to clean and cheap enough to just grab more if it's too gross.

These screens work very well. However, I ordered three of these and only received one. It even shows three on my order. They owe me two more, but i haven't received any information or explanation for only receiving one. I got shorted two.They work great, but after a while they will get kind of nasty looking and moldy and need to be replaced after a few months. If I had received all three, I would have given it five stars.

I expect a shower drain hair catcher to do two things: catch hair, and allow my shower to drain. This item, however, does neither effectively. The high hump design of this catcher means that the shower cannot drain nearly as effectively as it does with other, lower-profile catchers I've tried in the past. The sides of the catcher have spikes to catch the hairs, but because this backs up the drain so much, water flows over the hump and into the center well, which only has holes and no spikes, allowing for hairs to flow down the drain.Unfortunately, I missed my Amazon return window for this item by two days, and the manufacturer is ghosting me harder than Danny Phantom. I took a chance when the catchers I normally purchase were out of stock at my local hardware store. Learn from my mistake, and don't by this product.

Love these little things. They really hold hair from going through the drain in your shower.
