History of Modern Art 7th Edition

Has alot of good information about art movements I had never heard of or knew very little about.

I took History of Modern Art in college and this was our assigned text. It is amazing!

The writing is excellent, but I would highly recommend getting the hard copy of the book to be able to view the images that are not included in the e-text. (I wish I would have scrolled to Tori's 2017 review that mentions the missing images.)

The book came earlier than expected . I bought this for a class I'm taking instead of using efollet.Thank you Amazon books!!

I love the illustrations and the addition of the videos. I rented this book because at the time I could not afford to buy it. I would love to be able to buy the book. I am an art major and love history; this is an excellent book to hold onto.

This is a pretty amazing treatment of the arts including photography and architecture from the late 19th century though the 20th to the early years of this century. It's not an easy read although well worth it. In addition to treatments of various works of art and artists the authors discuss their role inn the society of the time and in the larger scope of art.Janet Condino

The high rating is because it was a textbook I needed to order for a mandatory art history class. So it fit the bill. However the class was less than great (which is irrelevant to the book review!) recommend for other art history students and any interested in art.
