MISSYDRESS 3 Tier of Tulle and Organza Girl Knee Length Slip Petticoat Crinoline

Wore this as a bridesmaid under a 50's style dress. I bought two different petticoats and this one by far was the superior one. It gave enough volume and the layer of fabric between the tulle and your legs really helped the tulle from scratching your legs. Would recommend spending the extra money on this petticoat vs a cheap version that has less volume and will end up scratching you all night.When I received the petticoat, it came in a small bag that wrinkled the tulle. Since it can't be ironed, my mother (a seamstress) taught me a good tip. Run the tulle tightly between your thumb and index finger along the entire length of the skirt. Not only will this get the wrinkles out, it will create waves giving the petticoat more volume.

It's two layers of fabric, three vertical tier and if your dress is heavy, it just doesn't give you the ooomph you need. I had to double it up to get the right results. Not for Pin-Up 1950's. More for a bridesmaid dress or something less exciting.

I love this crinoline. This is just what I wanted for a 50's costume. It exceeded my expectations because the layer next to my skin is a jersey/satin, very soft and smooth, not the scratchy tulle, like some crinolines. The "loft" for the 3 layers is perfect. I'd recommend it!

The petticoat is AWESOME.But I have yet to wear it. There is a faint, awful smell in the fabric. I have no idea what the smell is... My husband says it smells like glue? I think it smells sort of like shrimp.Anyway, one wash didn't get the smell out. Currently trying to wash it again, then I will use a fabric softener, too. I certainly cant' wear it if I can't get the smell out.

My daughter wants to be a girly vampire this Halloween and this skirt is perfect. The waistband is really comfortable and allows a lot of variation re: length. There's 2-layers of tulle and the innermost liner is solid black so tights will be fine.

This petticoat is nicely made and comfortable however, it did not have enough volume for the dress I was wearing. I borrowed a friend's to layer with this one which worked perfectly.
