Victorinox 4.0538 Leather-Belt Pouch for Officer’s Knife 4-5 Layers, Brown

A robust, handmade item. Very thick unpolished leather in a reddish brown colour with neat stitching. Has a belt loop on the back, fastened by three strong rivets. To protect the knife from scratches where the rivets are inside, there is a nylon fabric covering them which is a nice touch. This is a perfect size and shape for my Outrider, as the width is spot on and the case tapers slightly as does the knife. Velcro closure and riveted on Victorinox badge.

This belt pouch is a really useful size and not only looks good but the leather is of good quality and looks like it will last, whilst ageing well, enhancing it's already good looks. The belt loop is nice and large so belt width should never become an issue, everything from a standard leather belt upto a military webbing belt should fit. The stitching is good and strong and the velcro closure of decent quality. Inside the pouch there are no metal rivets or fittings meaning there is nothing to snag or scratch your tool or knife. I bought mine to accomodate a newly purchased Gerber FIT multitool, the one with the torch (dimensions 22mm, 32mm, 105mm), it easy fits, and because of the design of the pouch doesn't rattle. You could even fit a slightly bigger tool or knife in it without any difficulty.

TOO BIG!!! I bought this to go with the Huntsman knife (4layer)as a gift. I myself have a Huntsman and keep it in a 4.0535 pouch which is for 6-8 layer and I keep a mini maglite with it! So because this one was advertised as a 4-5 layer I thought it would be a good fit for the 4 layer Huntsman but it is MASSIVE. I think the Victorinox Workchamp might fit this pouch because it is longer. It's worth noting that this pouch (4.0538) is no longer on the Victorinox website.I should have read all the other reviews before purchasing but as one other person said it's well made and worth keeping for when I upgrade to something bigger.

Does what it says. Fits the 5 layered Swiss army work champ model I have a treat and is really good quality leather so will wear and age beautifully if you have it on your belt everyday at work as I do. DON'T however forget to take it off after work as I did and find your packing a 6 inch blade on your side when you rock up to the train station on your way home during the Olympics and the place is crawling with police carrying machine guns. This can give you a few grey hairs!

Nice pouch, i bought this for my Victorinox Workchamp which fits nice an snug (not to tight) The one i got was a nice brown leather (consistent colour no imperfections) The item seems solidly built and will last for years as for the Velcro vs press stud (personal preference i think)

Bought this for a Victorinox Climber knife, which has 3 layers. Needless to say it's way too big. Too good to send back so I'll definitely find a use for it.The quality of the product is excellent and I would have no hesitation recommending these if you have a larger knife.

Good quality leather pouch for my penknife. It took a couple of deliveries to get the sizing correct for my penknife. My knife does not fit snug in the pouch but it's the best I could find.

Lovely pouch that holds my WorkchampThe colour is lovely and wen used after a while the leather gets that lovely glossy look.Velcro fastening and a 'flap' on the back so you can attach it to your belt.
