I ordered the black candlesticks and in all reality they’re more of a dark grey than black up close (though my husband referred to them as black when he saw them). But if you’re looking for true black, these are not them. that said they look black enough from a distance, and they look great with the light on. Surprisingly realistic when they’re set to flicker. One note is that the remote refused to turn them on/off at first. I contacted the seller but later in the evening I thought to try swapping the battery with one from a remote I knew worked with other flameless candles and that did the trick. So if you get a remote that doesn’t work, try replacing the battery first.

I love these candles. The flame looks real when they're turned on. The bottom part has room for two batteries. I use the remote control to turn them off and on. They work when you turn each light on first at their bottom. I saw many reviews that they don't work, but they do if you follow the clear directions. They can't work when not putting your own alkaline batteries in them. A line in the middle was mentioned. That's because there's a battery storage in the bottom half. The line does not show when they're on the table. They will fit different size holders. If the candle is too thin, you just wrap tissue or part of a cotton ball around the bottom, and it stays firm in the candle holder. The LED battery in the control is included. They can flicker or not. They really looked pretty at a luncheon table. So glad I got them.

I honestly liked everything about these candles! I have a Halloween decoration that I put them in and they were perfect. They let off a beautiful glow!

This product is TERRIBLE. Which is so sad because they looked beautiful out of the box. Out of The first 4 I received, 2 were faulty. One wouldn’t turn on and one kept randomly turning on throughout the night. I ordered an exchange. Out of the 8 I received, only 4 turn on. Only one remote of the 2 works, and now all 4 of the remaining “working” candles turn on randomly and wake us up. What a joke. Now I have to wait 30 days after they receive to get a refund. Could not recommend LESS.

The candles are a perfect color and texture for a Halloween setting. When turned off a light will come on independently and then shut off again. When on they illuminate the room nicely, the candle effect is very nice.

the candles are so beautiful when they’re not on, but when they turn on, the color is a weird inorganic bright yellow that makes them look incredibly fake compared to other brands

Received with box opened. Candles were discolored on the bottom. Black on top and faded black/Grey on the bottom. Looked like these had been returned before. They looked like there were used before or heat damage. Bad quality control. They have a waxy outside that makes them look cheap. Not worth the money. Sending back.

I only needed 3 but this is the closest (4) I could get and in the correct burgundy color (not red). I tested each one and they all worked well with the remote and timer. I have only tested and used them at the event yet, but I'm sure they will be great. They look good and very realistic with the wax on the outside. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

i have just repurchased the candles and am having the exact same issue....I come down in the middle of the night and one or more of the candles are on...come into the room during the day and one or more of the candles are on. Not a big deal...other than going through batteries. Other than this I love the candles...wish this wasn't happening tho. Would like some time of resolution from the seller.

Love the look, but sadly the remote didn’t work

The candles don't work the way they sopose to. The batteries didn't fit in one of the candles.

Loved the wax finish on these candles. The remote would not function at first and then would turn one or both candles on or off by itself. Woke up in the middle of the night to a candle burning.
