Good product.

Install on this was a breeze. I put it on my John Deere X300 mower to see if it would help with the cutting out and stalling when it gets hot. Have not been able to mow yet since it's winter and about 26 degrees outside. Will follow up once spring gets here. It did however fit where the old one was located.

It was easy to install. It fixed my tractor. Mine wasn't a start up issue but rather a random shutdown issue. After it would set for a few It would again run and mow. This corrected the problem.

Item worked well after install. Hopefully will last longer than the one I bought last year.

An online John Deere support group said this would probably fix a problem with my X530 just quitting for no reason. It said the OEM electronic control unit cost twice as much as the one I purchased from Amazon. Extremely easy to install. Just unplug the old and plug in the new. Worked great!

Used the mower maybe half a dozen times before this failed. Mower will still drive but the PTO control locked on and was powering the deck without the PTO switch, and then about 10 minutes later stopped powering the PTO at all. Of course I'm 4 weeks past the return window. Learned my lesson, will buy the John Deere brand this time.

The AM141075 Electronic Control unit fits perfectly in my X540. No problems so far but will have to wait for hot weather to see if it solved my engine quitting problem.
