very nice hot sauce
purchased this to add that extra kick to my curry, it tastes good and has plenty of heat. it is very very hot, however, some reviews seem to make it seem a lot worse than what it is, may just be down to individuals.so from the opinion of a person who eats a lot of spice, and goes off the saying "the more spice, the better" it is very hot, but cools off pretty quick.I have only added 1-2 drops per food item, maybe more would give the "crazy" burn people are talking about.also, another thing I noticed, the sauce cooks off its heat very quickly, for the most heat add near the end of cooking or after cooking. don't add at the start, the heat dissipates very quickly.

Pretty sure stuff like this was banned under the Geneva Protocol!
Before this, the hottest thing I'd had is were the occasional vindaloo. It makes a vindaloo like a strawberry cheesecake in comparison. This is literally off the charts hot. There is a reason this comes with an eyedropper. A single drop of this in any single serving meal will turn it into something so hot it is genuinely punishing. Of course tough guy me tried 3 drops on my first go on a dish and spent 5 minutes with my mouth under a cold water tap. I am used to hot food and a smoker so I'm pretty desensitized to hot. It has its own decent flavour, which due to how overwhelming it is drowns out the taste of whatever you put it on.Its something I'd recommend buying just so you could say you have survived it, and for a challenge with your mates. Absolutely not for every day cooking as it will destroy you the next day too.A delightful condiment suitable for vegetarians, masochists and worst enemies.EDIT: I should add. This is without any scent, tiny amounts are unnoticeable on your fingers and very hard to get off your hands. Even if you're lifting the closed bottle without opening it, wash your hands vigorously like you're about to perform surgery after. It has a really aggressive contact with lips, mucus membranes, and I would assume would have a pepper spray affect on eyes. Just assume its on your hands and wash thoroughly after handling. You can't tell a trace amount is on you till your rub your face. I took a photograph of the closed bottle for friends and my lips and chin are burning. Act like you're in chemistry class when handling even the bottle. Should really come with a "patient leaflet" like medicines, its scary stuff. Well worth a buy though!

Wonderfully spicy
Fantastic stuff, 1 or two drops will turn a stew into a fairly spicy stew and 4-6 drops will turn a weak curry into a marathon of heat. Been averaging a few drops a day of this in my food for the past few months and the bottle is still pretty much full, so it's fantastic value for money.Only gave it four stars because the construction of the bottle could be a lot better. If you don't screw the cap on hard enough it magically unscrews itself before your very eyes, and recently the dropper separated from a cap, so this bottle is only going to last as long as it takes for someone to knock it over.Edit: After a year of use I finally ran out and bought another bottle. This bottle seems to be holding together much better, so I'm going to assume the last one was a fluke and bump my review up to 5 starsEdit2: So it's kind of solidified onto the dropper? I can still use it, but it looks pretty odd, so I'm bumping my review back down to 4 stars

Made my Phals Great Again
I usually have a chilli phal once a week from the local indian, but it's got to the stage where it's just not hot enough anymore. I gave Doomsday a shot because at 1.6 million Scovilles, it's around the Carolina Reaper level, so very hot, but not stupidly hot like some extracts (like mad dog plutonium 357).About 5 or 6 drops added to the phal (mixed in well!!!!) was all thats needed to hit it up to a proper spicy level that made the phal the best I've had in ages. The other plus is it did nothing to change the flavour of the curry. 30ml bottle is a decent amount, so this should last me a while. I'd say this is an essential cooking ingredient for anyone who's looking for that next level spice to their food. Also got be said how aesthetically pleasing the label is on the bottle. You can tell this is a high end product that aims to be top quality, which it is.

Excellent product used in moderation.
This is perfect to add heat to a meal without unwanted flavourings. Be aware that it is very hot and use in moderation. One drop or maybe two are the perfect amount to liven up a takeaway/meal for one. Remember you can always add more but you can't take it out once added. I add a drop to a desert spoon of water to help disperse it and then mix into the meal. Perfect results every time! Shall be making a repeat purchase.

Extremely hot
This is excellent for giving your cooking a zing a single spot is plenty heating takes some of the bite out of it but not by much. I have tried it on my finger and I would not recommend it to anyone it's just too hot. If you do wash your hands very very carefully as it stays on your skin (do not touch your eyes it may still burn after washing your hands if not done thoroughly) love it and recommend it to anyone who likes a challenge of heat.

Smell and taste are not very nice
I was very pleased that the product arrived early and the presentation on the bottle was brilliant. I then opened it and the smell hit me. It wasnt a spicy smell but the smell was not very nice (cant really disribe the smell as ive never smelt anything like it before). I then made a chilli and added some into the mix. Unfortunatley all i could taste was this chilli sauce which again wasnt very nice. I added some more chilli sauce (not the doomsday) to the mix and managed to cover most of the taste. It was quite spicey (i did however expect it to be hotter). My advice would be to try mixing in a little bit at a time. Its really not as hot as some people are making out but does pack a little punch.
