This really is an absolute little Gem - excuse the pun! I did sugar flowers many years ago and have just rekindled the hobby because I am making my daughter's wedding cake in February. I have been looking for a Peony veiner for some time but to no avail - the only one I did find was on an American site and the shipping cost more than the product! I then found this little Jem and it really does work, the veining shows through to the back on the thinly rolled sugar paste. You can vein it as deep or shallow as you like. It takes up no room in storage and is very cheap to buy. I would definitely recommend buying for any petal veining and frilling..

So so,
My rating for this product is just 4 stars it came with no instructions, I am slowly starting to get better results with practice and am still unsure how I feel about it. It creates veins but you must do each side separately. I have returned to using my petal press, but use this from time to time when fine detail is needed in small areas.
