Great book great purchase
Brought this as a xmas gift, for a fan of Francis and his cooking. The book is lovely hardback and thicker than I expected. The images are great and it's full of recipes and stories that you'd enjoy if you enjoy Francis and his shows/books

Fire for the gourmet in the beautiful wilderness
It's a book for men, men with taste, men that are still wild. Even those hiding the wild untamed man deep deep inside will be caught by this book. It drags the man out of you. It challenges you to set out into the wild, to cook, and maybe even to hunt even thou the book doesn't cover that. Some men may just want to ride a Harley - others to make a primitive bonfire in the wild to BBQ for himself, his friends, family or the whole village. A book with taste, taste of the wild, the untamed. - This is for men!

Can't wait to get started!
This is a very inspiring looking book. Well shot and styled. The recipes look fantastic. It's definitely a book for meat lovers! We haven't seen the results of the recipes yet, but feel sure that they'll be good.

A good aspirational read...
A lovey book with plenty of realistic recipes - and some that are a little too adventurous (e.g. roast cow!). A good atmospheric read...

MIND OVER MATTER
Some recipe books plod along... but Seven Fires zings with pep & enthusiasm. Stimulating & often refreshingly irrelevant to most normal suburban barbecues …. it takes you on a delicious journey to other world pleasures. Enjoy !
