Stinger Sports 2022 Missile 2 Aluminum Baseball Bat - BBCOR Certified Ultra Light Balanced Bat

First off, we had a minor hiccup getting the bat. The bat we first received came in a shredded box held together with shipping tape. The bat had a deep gash on it from whatever happened so we began the adventure of returning/replacing it. It was not as straight forward as purchases through Amazon because the manufacturer was the seller/shipper. After several back and forth communications we sent the bat to them and they sent us out a new one. I’d guess it took about 1-2 weeks from receiving the bat till we got the replacement. All in all, the process was not perfect but we ended up with a good replacement so it’s all good.Now, on to the bat. The bat is as good as we hoped it would be. My son had been using a Warstic Gunner that he liked but I felt he just could not get consistently good contact with it for some reason. I encouraged him to give the missile 2 a try and he instantly loved it. The ball just explodes off the bat and it’s more forgiving than we felt it would be given a smaller barrel. Overall, the stinger missile 2 lives up to the hype and should be one anyones short list looking for a -3 balanced bat — especially if you want to save $100+!

Fast shipping, great bat

Don’t get me wrong, this is a HOT bat. So hot in fact, the 33/30 BBCOR just got decertified by the NCAA. Which for me means my son can’t use it. Not sure if high school, NAIA, JUCO will ban it or not. It is only the 33” model that has been decertified, so if you swing 31”, 32”, or 34” you are good to go. The weight of this bat feels like it is towards the hands, which makes it swing “light” and maximize barrel control. Stinger is working to make it right and we hope to have a recertified bat for them very soon. They have figured out how to make great and affordable bats. Don’t hold this against them, every major bat manufacturer has had something like this happen to them before. It is a byproduct of innovation.

My 14 year old son loves that bat. He is 5'7" and 154 and swings the 32/29. Says it feels light, but has alot of pop. The exit velo is crazy on this.

My son wanted a good bat that was not heavily end loaded. Better balanced... He loves it!

Grip came apart within a month of use. Zero help from seller in an effort to get a new grip sent to me.
