Great Purge the air!
It's been working great so far. Much better than the other pumps I have used on my hot towel warmer. Make sure to really purge all the air out after the first installation. I had to do it a few times before it really started working well.

Amazing pump for the money!
So my home comes with a hot water circulation system. What this means is that it’s constantly pushing hot water throughout the house in a circular motion through the pipes so that whenever you turn the hot water on a faucet, you have almost instant hot water. The initial pump that was installed when the house was built I presume, we didn’t build the house, was a much smaller pump that was mounted on plastic waterlines that ran down the side of the water heater. The way this was initially gave me nothing but problems with the pipes busting on several occasions. So I decided to give this pump a shot, had to buy a little bit of additional hardware to get it to fit just right, but was able to mount it directly on top of my water heater into my circulation system. Now works perfectly and I’ve not had a problem since. The motor and the pressure it provides are so strong that I actually only use it on the lowest setting because it works so well. The only regret or negative comment I would make, is that I do wish I would’ve went ahead and spent a few more dollars and bought the model that has the stainless steel housing as opposed to iron. I’m sure due to irons rusting nature, the model I purchased is not gonna last quite as long. I suspect the motor will end up outliving the housing. Nevertheless, they’re pretty inexpensive to replace, fairly easy to install, and I would definitely recommend.

Fittings are really difficult
I received the pump yesterday, and I'm impressed with how quiet it is and how well it works for my hot-water recirculation system. I have a biggish house, and I run the pump on a timer for 5 minutes every half hour on the highest speed; it gives me instant hot water. However, as others have noted, the fittings are problematic. I'm not an expert plumber, but I spent a few hours trying to get a leak-proof seal. The threads seem to fit (American) 3/4-inch NPT fittings, but they leak. After many tries and a ton of Teflon tape and pipe dope, I was able to get a good seal. My advice is that, if you think you've used enough Teflon tape (and maybe pipe dope), use a whole lot more. It's possible that the fitting on the pump is too short to be able to twist on enough of the fitting you're trying to connect to it. Finally, the seller includes 1/2-inch NPT adapters. I definitely would not use these. They're 2-part fittings, and, as a result, it's difficult or impossible to tighten another fitting to them, and even harder to get the other fitting off. Really, if you're tempted, avoid them and buy your own.

This product cost me a lot of money! NOT NPT
So I ordered this product based on the description. It was to replace an old one from a different brand. Well, my plumber came out and when it came time to put it in, it would not fit! This pump does not have three-quarter inch national pipe thread! It has three-quarter inch British standard pipe thread. National pipe thread is tapered, and BSP is a straight thread. Tapered threads are self-sealing and do not need or accommodate a washer. The fact that these come with sealing washers are a dead giveaway. BSP coincidentally is 18 thread per inch just like three-quarter inch NPT, but that’s the only commonality. Again, NPT is tapered and has a 60° thread cut angle with flat tops and valleys. BSP is 55° with rounded tops and valleys. Why does that matter? Because even if BSP was tapered, it would never seal! When I wrote the company about this, they told me I was wrong. When I insisted and found on THEIR website (buried deep in the manufacturers description) that it was in fact BSP, they didn’t even apologize to me. The expense of having a plumber come out twice is much more than the cost of this pump! It's even in the Q&A section, but hidden if you don't click on the question!

Seems good. 6 months no issuesIf it makes it 2 years without issues I'll be satisfied.
Worked for me out of the box. It's surprisingly super quiet, was not expecting that. It's installed in the garage and I can barely hear it, if i cant hear it at all, standing next to it. Very very faint hum. Plugged it into a wifi smart outlet thing for control. Comes on between 6am and 10am, and 7pm and 11pm. Instant hot water in the whole house during that time. Seems pretty durable, no issues yet. Been about 6 months or so, on the same schedule.

Very nice, high quality pump.
Very impressed with the quality. Looks like an excellent pump built of high quality materials. I was unable to use it in my location because it required a horizontal position for the motor.

Good quality for a great price
I like the stainless construction. I am using it as a circ pump from my hot water tank across a heat exchanger to heat my hottub. When the hot tub calls for heat, this turns on to circ hot water from my hot water tank.

High quality pump and recommend!
Pump bought for home hot water and installed for instant hot water due to long distance to taps from hot water tank. Impressed with protective packaging. Very quiet and has no problem pushing fluid past a spring loaded check valve even on low speed. Glad I bought the stainless steel pump body over the cast iron clones available! Seems very high quality including the pump connection adaptors. Shipper dropped the ball but had to come through customs. 10/10

manufacture recommend to bleed the pump by releasing back screw .I was unable to do that.
So far works ok. The manual is not helpful . No contact with manufacture

Looks like this was used before (bleeder screw had damage). No pressure coming out of this after priming. Pump looked like great quality. Need to try and return.
