How long did it take to build?

I didn’t actually time the build as I was doing it as the mood took me But I recon if you sat down with the intention to complete it probably 2 to 3 hours depending on the sharpness of your sight and dexterity. Step 1 is a cup of tea and a good read of the plans as some parts are easier to fit before bending others into shape.

Does it require any additional equipment?

Hi. Not normally but people find tweezers and pincer nosed pliers quite handy.

Is it possible to stage the lander to its descent and ascent stages?

I don't think it would be posable as it stands as all parts rely on others to provide strength to the completed structure and cover some of the open sections However, I am sure with a bit of ingenuity, patience and possibly by modifying bits from a second kit it may be feasible Have a look at www.fascinations.com/metalearth/aviation/apollo-lunar-module where you will find the assembly sheets.
