In a nutshell I loved this mug. Good size and loved the beam down effect. However I would say after 3 months the transfer started cracking up.Now 8 months on the transfer is peeling off. No dishwasher, little warm water, has been cared for and still ended up like this.Very gutted. No reflection on seller purely the quality of the mug. If you get one enjoy it before it wears out.

I bought this mug for my father as he is also a big Trekkie, I used it quite a lot myself for tea and coffee. It works very well.Although, if your father is very forgetful when you warn them about 20 times not to put it in the dishwasher you'll end up with a lovely plain black mug instead...

I was sceptical about how well the mug would work but watching the crew teleport from the ship to the planet is brilliant. Its a good sized sturdy mug too.

Seriously, what the heck is "sheerness"? Review has "warmth" and "sheerness" as rate features. Whatever..Okay, so I got this for my Dad as a Christmas present, since he's always been a fan of StarTrek, and the original series in particular. He was super happy with it. Does the job (holds warm liquidy stuff, and changes when doing so) it's supposed to.One small gripe is the picture has peeled a little at the very top of the mug (where the lips go when drinking) but it's only on the very edge so it's not too bad.

Hi..Bought this for my brother’s birthday in November.It has now started chipping and pictures gone off on one side.Not at all acceptable. He loved it but I’m not very happy now and the way it’s looking.Please send me a reply and advise me what you are going to do about it.Very disappointed and not a great product.Was never washed in dishwasher. Carefully hand washed only.I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY TO MY COMMENT WITH REGARD TO THIS PURCHASE????

This mug is fantastic in every way, it's boxed is a stunning glossy box with images on, the cup is made to a very high quality with lots of detail in the images of the crew, you fill it up with hot water and the crew transports from one side of the cup to the other, we purchased this for a teacher as an end of term present and she said it's the best present she has ever received she even made a video of it to show it off.
