Accordion Harness Straps, Adjustable Shoulder Belts Straps for Accordions, Thickened Synthetic Leather

I bought two online and this was the better of the two.Pro:-Best part were the quality solid metal buckles.-The rivets were large.-The straps were twice as thick as the other brand.-The pattern looks classic and adds a nice touch to the strap. The padding is thick.- Holds accordion tightly against body.Cons:-The top straps are short so the padding starts up higher than I would prefer.-The buckle sits against my abdomen (although this is not an issue, My previous one didn’t).-Seems to be fake leather or real leather sandwiching fake leather.-Straps sit very wide on back.All in all, I liked the strap. It was not as nice as the 1960s strap I was using, and I doubt it will last 60 years. But it was the nicest one I found on Amazon and was much better than the other Amazon purchase. The patterning is nice and the straps do a good job of holding the accordion into your body making it feel like part of you. It does sit a little wide on the back and might be especially comfortable for someone with a larger body.The last photo shows the strap from this product on the left and the other product (the one I returned) on the right. This products “leather” is more robust, thicker and stronger. Also the buckles on this product were far superior to the folded sheet metal buckles on the other product.

These were more than we needed for replacement straps on a youth accordion. Well made. Just not right for our needs.

This strap is so very comfortable! It’s exactly what I was looking for. Soft and cushy, with a nice detailing. It really distributes the weight well. My back was killing me with the old skinny straps it came with, and this makes it more enjoyable to play my accordion. The back strap is useless for me since I can’t buckle it once it’s on, but overall I love it! Hoping it holds up as the pleather where it attaches to the accordion seems to be wearing a little bit after a month wishing the strap itself was a more durable leather, but overall it’s a nice product . :)

The harness is a good fit and very comfortable to wear. I don't use the backstrap as it is in a fixed position and I also found it difficult to secure/release as it is a buckle rather than a simple clasp. For younger players (I am 80) it may be perfectly OK. I use a modified belt from an old bum bag - far more adaptable and simpler for me to use. I was concerned that the straps might not fit the attaching brackets on the accordion as the width of the strap at this position is not shown in the specifications (actually about 18mm) and is wider than the bracket, which is about 15mm but the leather is flexible so it fitted fine.

Excellent set of accordion straps. Comfortable and smart. Includes a back strap too. So good … I bought two!
