Mcdavid Neoprene Short

Great shorts to hold the older sports guy's body together. I've just ordered 2x extra pairs for a ski trip, they're great under ski pants.I've had 2x pairs for over 2 yrs and wash them in a machine with no detriment.

These are really good quality, not the usual thin Neoprene. Really good thick material which keeps the heat in and has really helped my hamstrings and glutes when playing football. Would highly recommend.Don't buy cheap - get these, they really do work.

These fit well and are nicely insulating, a couple of minor issues - they aren't quite long enough (just above the kneecap would be lovely for me), and if you are not equipped with a six pack the waistline can put pressure on the excess, making the deep gasps of precious oxygen a little more difficult to manage....

Good shorts, but a small would have been a much better fit, totally mis-advised by seller. I really expect a refund from the seller for their really poor advice and recomendation!!

Advised by physio to get compression shorts due to hockey induced persistent hamstring / groin / adductor pulls strains etc...Did some online research and these looked best for support (check out Gilmour's groin supports as well but V expensive) These are a game changer, not been injured for over a year and virtually removes post-match tightness - frankly amazed and have ordered a second pair (as take a day or so to dry naturally after hand washing). They are thick, like diving suit but still flexible. Miles more effective than the thin sports undershorts.

The toggle does not keep the shorts up, removed and tied them. Continue to slip down round the knees when sweaty. Can't say I'm very impressed with them.

I bought these for paddle boarding and other water sports. I think they fit me well. I have a slim lean body. The length is good for me.

I have chronic pain in my lower abdomen growing area I believe this helps me

This is probably too soon for an in depth review, but I just had to comment. I've been a runner for 20 years and in recent years, due to advancing age (72), I've suffered hamstring pain that no amount of stretching or therapy has been able to eliminate. I finally tore a hamstring a three months ago and recovery has been very slow and painful. I have used other McDavid products so thought I'd give these shorts a try. I went out yesterday for a slow 3 mile workout to keep leg muscles from atrophying. I came back and cooled down for 1/2 hour and then showered. I expected the usually tightness and pain to follow as I continued to cool down. However, this time I put on the compression shorts after I showered and wore them under my jeans. Two hours later, no tightness and very minimal pain from the torn hamstring. A huge difference from a similar workout 4 days earlier without the shorts. I woke up this morning and figured I wear the shorts for a couple of hours before going to work. Absolutely remarkable!! My morning stretching routine was a breeze. I'm totally loosened up, very little pain. I'd wear them all day long but I see the instructions recommend no more than 2-3 hours. That's OK, any relief is worth it. I am anticipating a far more rapid recovery from the hamstring injury with continued use of these shorts. I will circle back on this review with an update that I expect to be glowing.BUY THESE SHORTS IF YOU ARE HAVING HAMSTRING, QUAD, OF HIP FLEXER MUSCLE PAIN.
