They Work
These fit my Fluval fx5. They don’t tighten as tight as the originals, but they work.

Bought these as they were much cheaper than original. Was a little concerned but the savings is so good I went for it.No dissapointment at all. They fit and work well.

Seems to be good quality for much less money
Anyone looking at these is here because of the garbage Fluval lid nuts that disintegrate over just a couple years time and are absurdly overpriced. These are a long overdue aftermarket solution that seems to be a quality product and do the job just fine. And even if these disintegrate over time like the Fluvals, they are about a quarter of the cost. All I did is was turn off the filter and replace and fully tighten each one at a time. Couple weeks in and everything seems good.

This will work With a FX6 at a price instead of 3 for $35
This works great if you need to replace the white ones on your FX 4 5 and 6! You don’t need to ultra tighten these, that’s why you bust them!Great price and I like them being round for simple tightening! Just be even and tighten start at 12 position go to 6 then 9 then 3 then 11 onto 5 then 8 finally to position 2 then tighten them all a little more. Then you will have even pressure and you don’t over tighten. Best of luck!
