This works great for a non harmful way to stop our dog from barking at every little thing. She’s still stubborn when it comes to other animals but we also have it at its lowest setting. Hoping this helps us train her to be calmer in social settings.

My dog is 9 pounds and this thing was heavy for her. The charge doesn’t last long enough to be effective. I had to cut several inches off of the strap and burn the edging to keep it from fraying. The strap continues to slip causing frequent readjusting. idea is good but product no so.

Collar does not activate, have tried all settings and combinations. It will respond on certain times and not others. Leaves dog wondering what is the issue

Have an over exuberant toy poodle. He loves to bark at the squires outside and anyone that passes. We tried some training and us barking at him to stop, then Distracting him, etc. A trainer recommended this exact type of collar. Doesn't shock or hurt them and we can't smell it when it fires...but the scent is not bad for humans.I may be a little masochistic, lol, but when he first had it on and barked...he spun around like he had his nose hit. Then he demanded to keep barking. We were cracking up as he made his way around the room barking and them spinning out and looking for the bad guy that just pooped him.VERY quickly...before we could stop laughing and start to feel bad...he put his tail between his legs and slinked over to sit with us to protect him from the evil ghost.He learned the cause and effect and in his stubborness...he still tries to bark! But now is a little kinda soft gruff noise vs an annoying max volume bark. WINNING! Even after a month or so...when we leave the collar off...he still acts the same ( training done - message received ). He has gotten off to the bigger bark as few times...collar on for an hour and he gets the message.Love your neighbors and your noise maker more. Get the product and enjoy your dog more!

This bark collar work really well but within a few weeks the battery won't hold a charge more than a day and a half or two days. Might not seem like a figures you better got to the point where I felt like it was on the charger more than on my dog. I really like the product so I bought it a second time thinking I may have gotten a dud. This one started having issues even sooner. Now going to look for other solutions.

I loved that it actually goes off when he barks but I do wish the spray container was a little bigger because it did run out pretty quickly but it’s easy to refill. Would recommend buying a replacement citronella in advance if you have a noisy pup that’s in training.

So, when I adopted my dog back in 2010, his name was literally Barkley. I thought it was cute and didn't think much more of it. Welp...14 years later, Barkley has stayed true to his name day in and day out! I have tried EVERYTHING throughout the years to get him to quiet down, nothing has ever been successful until I came across this little device. I decided to give it a try but assumed it would be business as usual. It wasn't. I was speechless when I saw this caused him to be barkless (lol). This is the miracle of bark collars, would definitely recommend. BTW, my dog is a little schnoodle with every bit of the yappiness of a schnauzer. Good luck to anyone who decides to give this thing a try for their fur baby.

We are now foster parents and a 9 year old boy has joined our household. Our little dog was only used to myself my husband. When an active, little boy came into the home, she wanted to bark at him constantly. She barked pretty much for 3 days straight when he came for a weekend visit and we ordered the collar at that time. He was joining our household 4 days later, and the collar arrived that day. We got it on her, and she was sprayed about 10 times before she got the hint and no longer (or very rarely) barks at him - we're on day 3 right now. It's peaceful, he can move about without fear, and it's making this transition much easier. We take it off when she goes outside because I do believe dogs SHOULD bark within reason and enjoy barking at people, other dogs, etc, but it goes back on when she comes in. I highly recommend the collar!Update: We have found out if you have a dog who snores or ours has a wheezing problem occasionally, the sprayer will go off with those actions.

There seems to be no Citronella sold with this . No mention of where to buy it from, so I cannot use it.
