Pleasantly surprised with quality!
The pieces fit together nearly seamlessly and the tight o-rings keep everything so secure! As other reviews said, the rings don’t have much give but I (notoriously known for not being able to open things and lacking in hand strength) was able to get them on very easily! Absolutely would recommend and will buy more. Great product!

Several pieces came broken and warped
I bought two of these cases for my Mantids. I was extremely excited when they showed up so quickly. What I was not excited about was the fact that 3 out of the 6 panels were already cracked. Despite that, I still tried to assemble it, only to find out that the pieces are warped. Had it just been cracks to fill, that would've been a simple cosmetic issue. They do not snap in place like they're supposed to, they're not flush, and one piece simply refused to snap into place at all because it was not only broken, but it didn't line up with the other pieces at all. These are awesome little critter Enclosures with awesome ventilation. I've bought smaller ones in the past that went together great. However, the 4x4x7 did not hold up to snuff. I'm afraid to take my other one out of the packaging, as I wish to wait for the seller to instruct me on how to handle receiving a damaged product. These would be perfect if they went together correctly. I've used similar products before and they went together easily. These unfortunately did not.

Warps. Not safe for Arachnids
At first I was pleased with this enclosure. It seemed sturdy enough and was about the right size for my tarantula. Unfortunately I did not notice that the lid had warped away from the sides, leaving a gap large enough for my tarantula to escape. This enclosure was not in sunlight or hot environments at all, it was stored in a dry cabinet until I was ready to use it. I am very grateful that I was able to safely capture my escaped arachnid before he was harmed. But I am very disappointed that an enclosure specifically marketed for smaller invertebrates could have been so unusable. I cannot recommend this at all to anyone who wants to keep any living/moving creature inside of it.

Good Little Enclosure for the Money
In case you don't have time to read my rather long review...Pros: -Great price-very clear acrylic-simple to put together-plenty of ventilation-small holesCons: -The bands can break or fly off into the ether and there is only one extra (Update: if you want to buy extra bands, they are just silicone o-rings, size 7x13x3mm. I bought extras and now broken bands aren't an issue. I'll leave it in cons though, because it is an extra purchase)-It's painful to put together, but at least I know they're on there good-ventilation is a little *too* good, as there are so many holes, it interrupts the view of my tarantulasI bought two of these enclosures, basically as a last resort. I had some tarantula slings in some really cloudy plastic enclosures and it made it difficult to observe them. I had to take the lid off to even check if they needed water!I looked extensively for something premade (I can't do DIY at the moment) that met my needs, and I kept coming back to these. Sure, they were cheap and the acrylic is thin, but I'm not keeping Antman in there! So, in the end, I bought these. And I must say, I've been very pleased that I did! They definitely aren't perfect, but I haven't found any enclosures yet that are8.One last thing. There's a 1 star review that has a video of this enclosure refusing to stay closed. The user laments the loss of an OBT sling due to the poor construction of the latch. I took that video at face value, but thought I'd just weigh down or tape the lid if I got one like that. Sure enough, my lid kept popping up. I couldn't even find a reason for it! It wasn't like that until I installed the latch. It was almost as if some force was acting against the MAGNETIC latch to push it up...oh my god! You see where I'm going? It was a major face-palm moment. I had installed the latch backwards, so the magnets' poles were pushing against each other. It was a quick fix. I was embarrassed...but not as much as I would be if I'd posted a negative review because of it.

Very secure
I have a teeny tiny little tarantula baby about the size of a silver dollar and needed to upgrade her enclosure from the little deli cup she came in. Bought this and couldn't be happier. Seams are secure and she can't sneak out. Magnet latch works great. Only complaint is the rubber bands to put it together are super tight and made my fingers hurt but I'm stubborn, you could use a small crochet hook or something to help, lol. Great product. Will be buying many more.
