Great mics, issue with the charging case
Had it for about a month. The mics are great, but…1- The Receiver doesn’t fit on the cold shoe of a GoPro media mod, which is a bit of a shame. It does however fit on other more standard cold shoes.2- The charging case stayed in my backpack on a sunny day out. Some black guck from the case melted, some glue or protective layer or whatever. Couldn’t clean it properly. It leaked over my backpack and that’s very disappointing. Everything still works fine but I have that sticky staining black guck all over the charging case now… wanted to return it but had to pay for shipping, and shipping batteries back to the US is ridiculously expensive

Sounds great, performs like a champ and easy to use.
I pulled the trigger on the Pro X system, and I am very glad I did. There are a lot of systems out there right now and it’s a little tough to decide, but I needed something very simple to use that includes lapel mics. I don’t like having a big mic transmitter on me or my talent’s shirt when filming, that does not look professional to me. The seemed to tick all the boxes for me, and I’m happy I made the choice to get the Pro X.Very easy to use, which is exactly what I need. I want simplicity, sound, and performance. That said… I’m also very happy with the sound and performance.I’ve been getting the range I need and even put it through some pretty tough testing to see how far I could go outside before I got a cut out. I went over 150 feet before I got a cut out and that was because my body was an obstacle. As soon as I turned around facing the camera it came in clear as day. I also tested it moving around my house into different rooms and even different floors, I did not get a cut out until I went outside into my garage. That’s more than enough range and reliability for me, I don’t ever film at that range or through walls and floors in my house, it was merely just a test. Either way I’m satisfied. Nice work Saramonic.

Great purchase
I just got the Blink 500 ProX system a few days ago and I am very impressed. Right away out of the box it was apparent this was a big upgrade from the original Blink 500 Pro, which I loved but sold to a friend when I saw this. I considered the Rode Wireless Go 2, but I really need lavaliers and I was very happy with the original. The system sounds great, I have not compared it side-by-side because I sold the other one. But my videos sound fantastic, and that is all that matters to me. The range and reliability have been stellar. The screens are vivid and very detailed, they also now feature level meters and other info which is extremely useful for me. I have not been able to put the 10 hour battery life to the test since I normally don’t film that long, but I am very glad it’s there and the charging case gives me a lot of extra power if I need it too..I highly recommend it.

Perfect little system for what I need!
I am a performer who uses needed a wireless system to create videos as well as sometimes plug into smaller PA systems. I wanted a system that is great for beginners, who don’t want to sound like a beginner. And I also needed a system that could be concealed in costumes. The Saramonic B2 Pro X does that for me. I string the cable under my costume and hide the lavalier easily as well. This is perfect for me because I don’t want the kids to see a wire or microphone, all they see is the performer in front of them. Love it!

Compact 2.4Ghz wireless system.
The Saramonic Blink 500 Pro X B2 is a 2.4Ghz wireless audio system capable of producing high quality sound. I like that the transmitters and receiver are labeled, but also on the charging case. A neat feature is that when the case lid is opened the transmitters and receiver automatically turn on.Microphone gain is adjustable on the transmitters, but only in 6 steps. Some 2.4Ghz wireless audio systems don’t allow adjusting the mic gain, but I think it would have been nice to have more adjustment steps. The receiver has both a line and headphone output, but they can’t be adjusted individually. Getting the best sound takes some trial and error since the mic gain, line out volume, and levels on the recording device have to be adjusted manually. Using a smartphone with this system will require an adapter and possibly a dedicated app to dial in the best sound input levels. The built-in omnidirectional mics on the transmitters sound great, but the entry-level included lavalieres don’t sound as clear. At distances of 3 to 20 feet I found the sound quality to be clean on this wireless system, but it is worth mentioning that interference can occur depending on the location. OLED displays are on the transmitters and receiver which is convenient but use a serif font that is not the easiest to read. The transmitters and receiver have slightly recessed buttons, which can prevent accidental changing of settings. The mute button can be disabled on both transmitters and receiver, which is a great feature. The only thing missing on this wireless system is internal recording, but it’s not an advertised feature. Still, it’s a compact 2.4Ghz wireless audio system with good features and clean sound.
