Good gutsy workhorse with brilliant quality print and versatile media capability.
Best printers I have ever had! Now have 3. Takes 80g paper, 160g card, two sizes photo card, enveopes, lables etc etc.Cartridges available cheap everywher on Amazon, so ink cleaning cycles NOT expensive. I print alot of coloured fliers, reports, lables, programs, photos plus. Scanning, reduction etc. Only problem can be the odd paper feed hiccups, just press OK!. I buy the cheapest A4 paper boxed 6 reams at a time - no probs. OK it is big but its gutsy. Works year in year out. If you have one to sell in good working codition, let me know as brand new is expensive... Cheers.

Don't Touch with a Barge Pole
We note that the damning report we made, previously, was not transferred, once Amazon started to offer this model, once again. Our model, under 2 years' old is sitting in the shed waiting to be taken to the tip. Nothing but problems and error messages, for which we had to call out engineers, until we were told ' to buy a new one'. We did - but NOT a Canon. Don't waste your money.

Takes an age to warm up - avoid like the plague
Printer died after a power cut. It wasn't being used at the time but switching it back on, get an error code B200 which can't be bypassed. Less than two years old and only light occasional use. It DRINKS ink due to the automated cleaning cycles - which again can't be bypassed and this is is despite the machine being left permanently on. Takes an age to warm up - avoid like the plague.

Worked for three months, then died.
Bought this printer three months ago and it has failed error code 6000. The seller’s suggested fixes didn’t work and they refused to replace. Amazon declined a refund.I have approached Canon to see if they will replace under warranty

An excellent printer with good quality prints
An excellent printer with good quality prints.Every time you switch this printer on it uses about £3-4 worth of ink!Had this printer about 10 months and replacing it with a cheaper to run machine. Shame if they could get the ink use better I would recommend it.
