I have a switched outlet in my bedroom and have not found a floor lamp I like but in the meantime, I wanted a way to light the room when I walk in. This solution is working well for me. It's reasonably priced, I can use the lightbulb of my choice and it works perfectly with the switched outlet. The build is pretty solid, too. I have no complaints.

I bought two security cameras that screw into outdoor light fixtures in place of the bulbs. However, the fixtures themselves obscured the cameras, and I needed to extend the sockets so that the camera lenses were exposed. These did the trick. They are long enough, and they have an articulated joint, allowing the cameras to be aimed properly. So I recommend them if someone experiences the same problem.

I was afraid it might be hard to get them in tight enough to connect but come down at proper angle. You're still able to swivel the base once tight into socket to align for the 90° bend. I have the old 8" square recessed lights in basement. This allows for light to be below ceiling and lights up the room much better. Nice product.

This is the most genius idea when somebody came up with this.I keep plants alive during the winter in my garage, but they don’t get much light.This is perfect to keep a plant light near my most favorite plants.Very, very happy with his purchase. When I need to get more, I definitely will purchase this one again.

Sockets in transit for return, received code late. Ups scanned camera, bulbs not sockets weren't scanned, everything is in same packaging that I received them in . Products are good.
