Great Samlex Add On Control
I purchased this remote on/off switch for my Samlex 600W sine wave inverter so I could save my batteries from idle drain when not in use. The inverter is located in a remote location which makes it difficult to reach the device's on/off switch. I tested the switch with the included 16 foot cable and it works great, but need to purchase a 50 foot cable for my application.

Convenient and simple solution for remote installs
I bought the Samlex inverter years ago and used the unit 24x7 during a power outage that lasted for 5 and 1/2 days. This remote device will allow me to move the unit into the RV. Just make sure you READ the units this fits (PST) for sure before ordering.

holes are not aligned with standard outdoor electric box
Holes on this product are not aligned with standard outdoor electric box. Need extra effort to mount it on electric box. For such an expensive remote control, this is really annoying. Functionality wise, it works.updates: if this remote control had a timer on it, it would be perfect. Check all remote controls for inverters, it appears that none of them has this functionality. It is really disapointed since I always turn inverters off during day time and turn them back on during night time. Since there is no such an functionality, I have to do the job manually everyday.

As advertised.
Controls the Samlex inverter. Long cable which was too long for my purposes. I cut it down to about 18 inches and re-terminated OK.

Nice Remote
Purchased this RC along with the Samlex America PST60S12A 600W Pure Sine Wave Inverter for the RV. I liked the panel interface for it's small and flat size but more importantly, the indicator lights which also mimic the physical power inverter. I've have the invertedrattached to the bottom to the booth (dinette) and it isn't readily accessible. This allows me to to turn on remotely.

This piece make the whole inverter work for my application ...
This piece make the whole inverter work for my application. I can leave it off saving the battery and with a quick press of a button bring the unit up. The remote also allowed me to mount the inverter in an out of the way location keeping prime space open for other stuff.

Works greats!
I highly recommend this for your inverter. I put mine right by the steering wheel so I can see if there are any issues and have easy on and off.
