Brilliant but careful about the mess 🤦🏻♀️
My kid loved this, we got it for his birthday. He spent hours digging for the gems and treasures inside.It’s very messy so I would recommend putting down a plastic sheet.10/10 I would def buy it again or as a present for another child, hours of fun

Gems lovely, post awful
I was disappointed with the packaging for post as there was none, my daughter was exactly what her birthday present was, it was also crushed and the stone broke into 3 pieces as she opened it, obviously that was fault of post and not the suppliers, other than that the gems were very nice

Unique accessories
The keychain and hammer are rare to find in most dig kits we’ve tried. The gems seemed basic and common. Gems were all in the same area of the brick, making it too easy.

We had fun, great for supplementing geology school units
I bought 2 small kits, one for each of my kids. One of the kits was missing a stone, hence the 4 star ratingSome tips: highly recommend you do this outside, it's very messy and powdery. The hammer and chisel supplied isn't quite enough oomph to break the block open, we had to resort to a regular hammer with the block on the pavement. Other than that, the kids had a ton of fun, and enjoyed "unearthing" the stones from the block.
