Kurt Adler 14" 7-Point Natural Capiz Star Lighted Treetop

This is the most beautiful tree topper I have ever owned! Wow! Worth every penny!

I really like this tree topper! As others have noted, it is not two-sided but that's perfectly okay for us as our tree is situated near a wall. I love the size of this star; all of the tree toppers I found locally were much smaller and seemed too small atop our wide 7.5" tall tree, or if they were "bigger", they weren't lit. This star compliments the tree wonderfully. I love the warm white tone of the lights and I'm thrilled that this is a larger star. It seems the slightest bit flimsy but it's of good quality overall. I'd buy it again!Edited to add: We had no problem getting the star to stand up straight on top of our tree (it's an artificial tree--Balsam Hill brand).

I read other's reviews before buying and I completely concur. This is a beautiful tree top. It's perfect for our 10 foot tree that needs a bigger than usual star. It's perfectly proportionate to the 10 ft tree size...I think it will work for 12 ft too. It has 10 white lights on the inside that glow nice and bright when it's on. The gold wires have sparkles on them and when it's lighted they reflect the light to make it even more brilliant. It shines light that glows off of our 12ft ceiling. It gives off a lot of light. The picture makes it appear that there are black dividing lines on it however those are gold which makes it even prettier than the picture. There is a white circular piece of plastic in the back to hide the inner workings. It's made to have one really good side (not really a 360 degree design). I imagine that you could even change the white bulbs to colored ones if you want to change the look. I had to use a piece of wire hanger to secure it to the tree because if you just set it on peak branch it falls over from it's own weight. LOVE IT...recommend it !!

We caught this on sale and bought the 14" star for our 9 foot tree. The size is perfect for our tree, and overall the star is very pretty. My only complaints are: 1) the back of the star is flat and not fit to display. We have our tree in a corner so it's mostly fine...but you can notice it from certain positions in the room. 2) it was very difficult to position on our tree. We used twist-ties to secure it, otherwise it seemed too top heavy and would fall over. That being said, I feel like we got a good value due to the sales price. I would not have paid the retail price for this item.

This star is absolutely beautiful when lit and was a perfect addition to our tree. Everyone commented on how it was the best tree topper we had ever put on our tree. It is much larger than almost all I had seen elsewhere. The only thing that I wish is that the star appeared the same on both sides so that it looked the same on either side of the tree, but the back is flat and exposed. It is heavy; so I had to pull extra branches upward and tape them together in order to support it enough. I have an artificial tree, but this may be a problem if you have a real tree with tiny branches near the top. All in all I loved it though and hope it lasts for years.

This is a Beautiful Christmas Tree Star! This is the first time in many years that we have had a star tree topper for our tree, and it was definitely worth buying at such a great price! We actually purchased a brand new Christmas tree this year too, the tree is a Donner & Blitzen Incorporated 7.5' Westchester Deluxe Cashmere Pine Pre-lit Christmas Tree with 600 Multi Lights. This Kurt Adler 14" 7-Point Natural Capiz Star Lighted Treetop is PERFECT for this Christmas tree! We absolutely love how the star looks on top of the tree!At first, we had a little bit of trouble getting the star to mount onto the top of the tree, as it is somewhat top heavy and did require some adjusting.The star is bright and glowy, and illuminates the room. The shimmering gold accent rays glisten and provide an extra nice touch to this pretty star!

I think the star is really beautiful and I love the size of it, but after just two years it no longer lights up. I went to use it this year and it won’t turn on. I bought it at the end of November 2022. I replaced the fuses and the lightbulbs and it’s still not working. I have emailed the company and I’m hoping they will replace the product. If they do, I will update my review.

Let me begin by saying that this star is absolutely stunning on my 9' tree and it is exactly as described. The size is perfect on the larger tree and the star was packaged in a manner that prevented any damage short of crushing.I took away two stars because of the difficulty mounting this on the tree. After reading other reviews I was prepared to do battle when it arrived! The stem that supports a topper on my artificial tree was in no way strong enough to support this star so I ended up folding that piece down and mounting the bracket on the center pole of the tree. That worked, after a great deal of pushing and tugging, but I was still not confident that it would stay in place so I wrapped with a zip tie as a precautionary measure.The manufacturer needs to do some serious reconfiguration of the mounting bracket! Others have said the star is too heavy but I believe the problem lies in the shape and size of the mounting coil. It is cone shaped and only about 3" high therefore preventing the top of the tree from going far enough into the bracket to support the star. This results in the star becoming top heavy.All that being said, I am not an engineer, just my humble opinion!

La estrella es preciosa, queda perfecta para pinos mayores a 2 metros, la calidad es buena, aunque si se siente algo frágil. Es pesada, tuve que asegurarla muy bien al pino para que no se mueva ni se vaya de lado. Llegó en buenas condiciones, aunque con un golpe pequeño en una de las puntas.

Stunning! Exactly what I was looking for; a beautiful classic piece. Equally beautiful in day as in the night.

It's construction is very fragile withe the beams breaking off easily. You don't expect that to be happening when you are paying a premium price.
