Ronseal DC Decking Cleaner 5 Litre

Great product. Found with a bit of scrubbing that the surfaces came up really well. Used it not only on my decking but also on my wooden gate before painting. Did a great job of removing all the algae and growth leaving the surface ready to paint once it was rinsed.

Great product at a good price. Remarkable how much dirt this lifted from my decking. Applied with a sweeping brush and left to soak then power washed off. Yes I would recommend it.

I was really pleased with this product - I thought I would need a pressure washer for a good job to be done, but a hose worked fine. My decking was completely hazardous, but in tandem with a stiff brush, this cleaned off all the green algae beautifully - the photo shows my decking mid-clean and you can clearly see the difference!

For the top layers its great, for ingrained algae etc not so great. Even used it twice and scrubbed really hard. Had to resort to sanding.

Pleased with this product. We used as instructed (making sure to leave on for a while then scrub) then washed off and the cedar wood came up a treat. Waited for it to dry out then treated with oil. Looks lovely again.

In the world of sales, following a particular TV advert in the UK, an expression came into being, and has become synonymous with well made products or services that did exactly as they were advertised and intended, with this phrase also being adopted with the professional environment of finance. When buying a "Ronseal" product or service, the buyer expected something that did exactly as "it says on the tin". This product did exactly as it is advertised: It stripped away all the slimy ingrained layer on our decking, during a cold afternoon, and cleaned up the surface ready for me to apply wood treatment. Even when making it stretch further by adding it to a bucket of hot water, the resulting diluted solution easily removed dirt, mould and slime - leaving it for 15 minutes saw it just cut into the offending coatings. Due to it's price and the stated coverage when used undiluted, I would not be so keen on buying this, but, as it worked so well despite being diluted, this will be the product I use in future years should the problem re-appear.

ho preso questo prodotto perche speravo di risolvere un annoso problema della pulizia del pavimento esterno prima di dare il trattamento protettivo (legno ingrigito), ho seguito le indicazioni, spruzzato, strofinato con spazzolone, lasciato agire 20 minuti, risciacquo con idropulitrice e niente... il legno grigio come prima! allora lo spruzzo di nuovo e lo lascio agire per un giorno sperando che sciogliesse lo sporco togliendo la patina grigia ma nulla! inoltre fa un sacco di schiuma quindi ho dovuto passare 4-5 volte l'idropulitrice per eliminarla ed ancora se ci spruzzo esce schiuma bianca! per pulirlo devo quindi fare come sempre ovvero passare il getto vicino in modo da rimuovere il grigio e poi levigare perche si aprono i pori ed infine dare il protettivo. prodotto inutile!
