Boy, am I glad I used this product.
I have used diesel on forms before. Works sort of but so smelly/messy. Reviews of this product are all over the map. I applied a coat on the T&G subfloor panels that I cut to the width I required. Both sides had a relatively smooth surface but with all the little crevices the concrete could have really caused problems. I used a sprayer that is meant for weed killer and such. Sprayed a generous coat and the temp was in the low 50's. An hour later, another coat. The next day I had to chip the spilled concrete away from the ends of my forms (areas where I did not use the Release Agent, which took about an hour each. Since the one run was 34 feet long and a foot high, I was concerned of the forms buckling outward. Before the pour, I packed sand in the gap between the forms and the soil, worrying about my form design failing in catastrophe, only to cause grief during this removal process. Now I am trying to remove the forms and am afraid I will need to dig out the length of the run to get the forms to release. Good news. Once the ends were no longer constraining, I could sense an ever so slightly movement of the form but only upward...no room outward. As you might be able to see in the photos, the 34 foot long form slipped upward. This was only possible because I used this Form Release product. Had I not used it, I suspect I was going to need to dig a significant portion of this out with a pick axe and shovel. I was dreading that possibility.

Works great
Spray it on and wait a litte, the cement will come off.

Good, but to runny
I wish is was a little thicker to cover the vertical form and stay. I guess it does the job, but some knockouts have gotten stuck in the form.

DO NOT USE THIS FOR STAMPING CONCRETE
Product description claims this release is good for stamping concrete expert finisher brought his stamps Friday we poured the pad, when it was ready for stamping we applied the release to both concrete and stamps after suitable tamping the concrete stuck to the stamps and stippled the cream right back off the Finish concrete finish is terrible had to pressure wash the stamps. $ 700 worth of concrete now looks like garbage. As a note the finisher is a seasoned 20-year concrete veteran, not an amateur.

Would not recommend
Does not work the best. A lot of times my mold is stuck in there, even though I saturated with this release agent.
