G-PLUS Rear Third Brake Light Led Tail Light Compatible With 04-08 Ford F150 Lobo/07-10 Ford Explorer/06-08 Lincoln Mark LT,3RD Cargo Led Tail Lamps,Smoke Lens

4 stars instead of 5 for one reason, no instructions. Now, I am decently handy when it comes to cars but for someone with little knowledge, they may struggle just a bit. Installation takes about 15 mins if you know what to do. Left and right cargo lights are not LED, you just use the sockets and bulbs you pull out of the old light assembly. The 3rd brake light is LED and you must remove the old bulb from the socket and plug the LED wire into that socket as if you were just replacing a bad bulb. The LED wire is a bit thicker so it is not an easy fit. I had to mash it in with my thumbs pretty hard while at the same time, trying not to smash the wires and break them off. You can see the look, it's sweet and with a little "know-how" you will be ready to go in no time.

I just installed this on my 2005 Ford F150 and it looks great! The existing brake light on my truck used a regular bulb. I cut the wires to the regular bulb and this products led connector pin and used bullet connectors to reconnect the wires. The truck's existing cargo bulbs just go into each side of this product. Overall I am satisfied with the product I would have given it five stars but I had to do the cutting of the wires and reconnecting. Looks great!

I do like the third brake light but the wire for the LED light inside of it I really wish they would have had that a little better than what it was it just kind of hangs out the back and there's a rubber grommet that supposed to fit up in there and kind of seal it off so the water and wash your back and get in there but the worst kind of so long that you really have to kind of threat it inside of their to get that grommet up there to put it in or you're going to have a lot of the extra line outside oh I wish they would work on that part of it but overall the light is green ice

The light looks and fits good on the truck. It uses the existing harness to install. The two bed lights are regular 921 halogens. the brake light is an led. The plug for that fits into the brake light socket. This is where I found a problem. The plug was too thick to fit into the socket. It is made out of plastic, so I heated it up with a heat gun. I then used a set of pliers to flaten it out. After that, I trimmed the edges to get it to the correct width. It slid right in.

This is really easy to install and looks good.. the only downside is when installed it kills the cruise control on my vehicle.. to be fair.. after researching I realized any LED light installed in this location will disable my cruise control due to different output voltage..

04 f150 straight forward install , does seem to work ok so far , i ordered clear and smoke was shipped / contacted speedmotor and they immediately sent a clear one , will upgrade review if i get long term life out of the bulbs . I do plan on using clear silicone caulk around the whole assembly to make sure no water can get it ( factory light had silicone installed )

Sturdy, great product at a good price.

Great value. The smokey lens is a sharp look and makes an older truck look great. HOWEVER. Don’t scratch that lens. I scratched it while installing it and was surprised it scratched easily. Post installation it held up fine and it was value priced so I’m very pleased.
